Three Huggies Jumbo Packs for the Price of One

I said I would share outstanding deals and I thought this one fell in that category: This is how you can get three jumbo packs of Huggies diapers May 30th at Walgreens for the price of one:

9.49 jumbo pack
9.49 jumbo pack
9.49 jumbo pack
0.99 one Chex mix
0.99 one Chex mix
= 30.45
- 10 $10 off $30 purchase at Walgreens good 5/30 only (get yours here)
- 4.5 three $1.50 off any jumbo packs of huggies diapers coupons
-1.00 Chex Mix coupon at www.coupons.com (this coupon will need to be adjusted down)

Cool! Are those Huggies coupons from a recent newspaper? I haven’t yet started stockpiling diaper coupons, since we’ve still got a long way until December. But, it almost makes me wanna run out and buy a bunch of diapers!

The inserts from 5/18 had $1 off any jumbo or larger. Kacie, it is never too early to sign up with the diaper companies to get their coupons. When I was pregnant last time I started getting coupons before the baby was born.

    Hi –

This is a good deal, except that Walgreens computers had a problem with the coupons.com coupon for Chex mix – it says it can’t be combined with any other coupon (like the $10 of $30). I asked them if they could ring it up in a different order, and obligingly, they did, but now I’m left feeling like a heel because in retrospect I probably shouldn’t have used this coupon. All to save a few dollars . . . :( . Thanks for the idea of combining, anyway.

    Hi Anonymous!
I am so sorry to hear about your experience. I should have added originally to my post that the Chex coupon will need to be adjusted down. I have added that line now. When you bought the Chex the first coupon probably went through fine, but the second one beeped. Because the value of the two coupons is greater than the value of the items ($2 > 1.98). This is why they started reading the coupon and came up with the sorry excuse that you couldn’t combine the coupons. Of course you can combine coupons. I and many other people do it and have done it all the time.

I had a bit of a problem too- I went to 2 stores to do the diaper deal twice. The first store went fine and I bought a Loreal lipgloss for $2.29 w/ a $2 MQ and 3 $1 Huggies coups to total 17. The next store the lady was a disaster and had to call a mgr because I gave her 3 $1/1 MQ with the $10/30.. She let me put 1 through and tried to say it was “doubling” whicc the MQ prohibit… DUH.. not worth the arguement. Anyway, my explanation for all this is the big P&G scam a few weeks ago. I think people got way to carried away and frankly ruined it for the rest of us. Granted you may have scored 65 tubes of Crest but now WAGs is turning into a nightmare on coups. Just my opinion :)

  6. Mercedes says:

You think Wags is turning into a nightmare with coupons? you haven’t been to Target lately! I was there yesterday and everyone of my coupons beeped and I had the exact items for each coupon. It seems that they have adjusted their register so that the cashier looks at every single coupon they need to scan.

To be honest, only those who use coupons the way they are not intended “ruin it” for the rest. The store gets reimbursed for every coupon you use correctly, there is no reason why they shouldn’t.

What is going around a lot at this store is plain ignorance. Cashiers and managers alike do not know the very least about coupons and how people use them and how to process them at the register. if you have three items and you have one coupon per item you are in no way double dipping. Also register rewards promotions only benefit Walgreens. The P&G you mentioned, if people used coupons on the items, P&G will reimburse Walgreens. The register rewards that printed? those are also out of P&G’s pocket. Walgreens doesn’t lose anything! promotions like this only promote sales for their store because people have to turn around and spend those RRs at Walgreens only.

I tried my hardest to contain myself and “not ruin it” for everyone else. So I only did one transaction. Ok, I am joking! the truth is I don’t want to spend money at Walgreens unless it is a money making deal.
    This is what I got:
    8.99 one little swimmers diapers
    10.99 fibersure
    6.93 seven chex mix
    14.99 one touch mini
    =41.9
    -10 Wag 10/30 coupon
    -1.25 little swimmers coupon
    -5 fibersure Walgreens cat
-6 chex mix coupons, I knew that the seventh coupon would beep so I didn’t use it
    -14.99 one touch mini coupon
=4.66 + tax. This is the most money I have given Wags in the last two weeks.

The cashier didn’t bat an eye.

I am sorry lots of people have problems with these $/$$ coupons. I say keep trying and try to identify a good store to shop at or a good cashier. It sure makes shopping so much easier when you don’t have to be training cashiers on top of everything.

glad you had a good experience today! i agree totally on target and lately i have had everything rejected at target plus they treat you worse than a shoplifter when you have coups! i went up to the service desk to return everything i bought since the cashier rejected 50% of my coups and the lady took them all and gave me cash and explained there are some customers that come in and “get $200 in merchandise for $5 by committing coupon fraud and the cashiers want to do it and then when they are told no they get angry..” at poopy WAGS that i mentioned i was told they were mad about customers rolling RRs and had a memo out about “those coupon ladies getting stuff free”… i just want to yell at them- you put the time and energy into figuring it out and its free for you to! if only i had a cvs….

I need to write about this Anon, but my neighbor and I have started to carpool to CVS. I will have something about it Monday.
