I don’t think there’s anything hot about this coupon but for informational purposes I thought I would share. $40 is a ton of money for me to spend in one transaction but hopefully some people can come with insanely incredible scenarios to make it work.
Update, I have found a couple of good scenarios, Check them out here and here. I forgot about the Revitalift FAR in September. That alone is 16.99 towards the bill.
I have worked my own “insanely incredible” scenario for tomorrow:
12.37 Revitalift (Christmas Gift for my mom)
11.00 5 Pepsi twelve packs
9.58 4 Glade Plug Ins
4.99 Nivea Body Was
7.99 Chemistry Hair treatment
1.99 Lypsyl
3.79 Crest Prohealth
9.74 Two John Frieda Shampoo and Conditioner
=61.45
-3 revitalift manufacturer coupon
-9.58 two Glade plug ins buy one get one coupons
-1 nivea body wash coupon
-3 August IVC coupon for Chemistry hair treatment
-0.75 Crest coupon
-2 John Frieda Coupons
=42.12
-10 from 10 off 40 coupon
= 32.12 plus tax out of pocket *swallow hard*
But get back $38.64 back by rebate and also a $5 Register reward for the John Frieda AND I get the Pepsi! There’s also something to be said about having all of your rebate items on one receipt. No more hunting down multiple receipts. Just don’t lose it!

What an awesome coupon! Thanks! I will enjoy putting it to good use.
Actually you will get back $9 for the John Frieda. This is one of those glitch deals with their computer because of the way their BOGO 50% off rings up. Since the computer rings up two at full price, and then makes another line where it takes the 50% off, the computer reads it as 3 items, therefore printing $9 in RR! I just did this today and it works! Yay!
I’m off in the morning to take advantage of the wipes on sale + coupon, diapers on sale + RR + coupon + caregiver’s marketplace! And I’m loyal to Neutrogena so I’ll get to use that $10 RR for more diapers and wipes!
Very cool! A quick question…I can submit the same receipt on the August rebate and the September rebates online, right?
Hi mean mommy, I have done that with no problem before.
That looks like a great deal but I have a question about the easy saver coupons. My Aug. coupons say they expired on 7/26 and I was told this was a typo and it’s supposed to be 8/26. Well that was tues. so am I missing something? Just wondering if I get to the register and the cashier will tell me these are expired and then my transaction is all messed up. Can someone please clarify. Thanks
Thanks so much for this scenario listing! I actually spent that much money today BEFORE the coupon was emailed out, just to avoid the grocery store lines. LOL
Don’t forget that there is still a little time (until 8/30) to purchase the 7 items from the August Easy Saver book that are free after rebate and would be great things to get your total above the $40 mark as well. I have yet to track down the vacuum bags!
@ Anonymous — I used 2 of the $2 off Prep H wipes coupons from the messed up August 08 booklet in the wee hours of Thursday 8/28/08 and didn’t have any problems using them. Hope that helps!
anonymous – the Online version of the Easy Saver coupon has the expiration date as 8/30/08
anonymous – I used the easysaver coupons today, and the cashier verified for me with her manager that they are good until 8/30
I have never done a Wags rebate. I have CVS and the whole rebate thing to me sounds like a hassle. Is it worth the $15 return, really? What all is involved?
If you were to spend another $7.88 you can use the $10/$40 coupon, thereby cutting your OOP to $30 + tax and saving an extra $2.12.
this is a HOT coupon…if you can find the Polaroid cameras on clearance.
it makes the cameras $10.99 and $15.99 plus tax after the rebate with the coupon in two transactions!
I did my Walgreens shopping today. I ended up with over $60 in FREE products plus over $15 in overages! WOO-HOO! Wanna see pics of my haul? momsbyheart(dot)blogspot(dot)com. I wondered why I ended up with $9 RR when I only bought two John Frieda products. Thanks centsible savings!
Hi Erin,
I am going to have to look for those cameras, here in Chicago. Drove down here this morning. Slightly higher tax but maybe better selection.
Centsible Savings, Thank you for sharing the Frieda tip.
Living furgal and loving it: tye Walgreens rebates are very simple to do. You may be out of pocket the first time you do them. but you can save what you get back via rebate and use that to pay for next month’s free after rebate item. Also if you choose a Walgreens gift card instead of a check you get an extra 10% and unlike CVS you don’t have to roll your gift card funds. They really are an easy way to get free stuff.
I am definitely doing this. Thanks!
Thanks for the info! I went tonight and will end up getting over $19 in overages. How exciting!! I am new to this and started keeping track of my scenarios online as well if you are interested. It’s located at addictedtocoupons.blogspot.com, because yes, I’m addicted
Seems too easy to be true.
