About a month ago I shared with you what double dipping means at Walgreens. That time is here again. These are the things I will be getting during double dipping days:
- Children’s Tylenol is on sale 4.99 each. There’s a $1.50 IVC coupon in September ESR book. I am going to use a $1 off any Tylenol IP coupon here. I will end up paying $2.49 per bottle. I am blessed with healthy children but it’s amazing how quickly we go through Tylenol. I also maxed out on the Free Advil at CVS this month. I have $10 in register rewards and I will probably use them all to get a few bottles of these.
- I also want to get paid to buy air fresheners for my in laws: I plan to buy 4 Glade Scented Oil Warmers, on sale buy one get one. Use two bogo coupons and submit for September mail in rebate and get $4.40 back on my gift card.
- I am going to do the same with the refills and submit for the August rebate offer. I will buy 2 2-pk Glade Scented Oil Refills, use one BOGO coupon. Use the glade coupon available in the September catalog and get $3.30 back. I am going to have to print this post and bring with me to keep my plan of attack straight, geez!
There are a couple of more deals that I want to share with you. I am going to be skipping these because I am not sure I want to “work” to get free shampoo or even get paid for it. But here are the two extra offers:
Chemistry Shampoo or Conditioner or Treatment is free after Easy saver rebate up to $7.99 , 1.35-12oz . in September. Use $3 on Chemistry Shampoo, Conditioner, or Treatment, 1.35-12oz coupon from August Easy Saver Catalog. You make $3 on your September rebate.
Garnier Fructis hair care items are on sale for $3.99. If you buy $20 in Garnier products you get $10 back. This is the offer in the September Easysaver booklet. There is a $1 off coupon in the August Easysaver booklet.
This is what you can do:
23.94 Buy 6 Garnier products
-12 Six $2 off any Garnier product coupons from a tearpad found at the Dollar General Store
-6 from $1 off August IVC coupon
= $5.94 + tax out of pocket get $10 back (or $11 if you upload a Walgreens GC)
Sounds like too much work for me for shampoo. I am not picky about brands so I am happy with the Loreal I picked up last month.

Hi Mercedes,
Two other things– if you got the Sept AY there is a 2/1 for the Jane FAR for Aug. For Sept there is a Nivea FAR for men– the insert q’s expire 8/31 so might as well get them early!
Hi Mercedes,
There’s also a $10 off a $40 purchase that’s good on Friday and Saturday only. It can be found here…

HI Corrie,
Thanks for the heads up. We must have been typing about it at the same time. See my new post
just an FYI-the August Easy Saver coupons expired on August 26 so you shouldn’t be able to use them anymore.
Hi Anon,
The coupons from the Easysaver don’t expire until Aug 30th. That was a misprint. At my store all of the booklets were relabeled with the right dates on them and management acknowledge the misprint.
