It is not until you are ready to check out that you will see the FREE cutlery set added to your order. Proceed to checkout as normal, choose to pay via Paypal or Credit card but when use your gift card code to help pay for your order.
Thanks to “Deal”icious Mom for the heads up on this deal.

Thanks for sharing this great deal. How long does it take for the code to arrive by email? I signed up four hours ago and still have not received an email code. Can anyone who has received the code answer my question? Thanks in advance!

A few hours for me, but I heard some people got it the next day. I already did the deal last night and spent less than $4 and got 18 burgers, the cutlery set and cutting board! It should be delivered on Thursday!

I signed up this morning and it took several hours before an email came through but then it didn’t have a code. Has anyone had this problem? Is this deal still going on? any ideas?

I got a welcome e-mail this evening (signed up this afternoon), but no $25 code. Am I just out of luck?

I just signed up for Geico Rewards, and I was told that I had signed up via email, but no code. Does the code come in a separate email?

Well, I finally received the email. It did NOT contain the code. The email says “click here to obtain the code” but does not provide the code. I think we’re out of luck. Darn it!!!!!!

Code finally came to my second email address! Followed a link from imommies (different links make different deals show up when you check out- go figure!) , with a purchase of at least $14.99, you get 6 free burgers, the cutting board and the knives. I got 6 molten lava cakes, plus the above for $3.98! Thank you so much for this post!!

I finally got it to work. Thanks for sharing your scenario Andrea! I did the same thing as you and spent $3.98. I’m waiting for my confirmation and just pray that the order doesn’t get cancelled. Keeping my fingers crossed!!!!! Thanks again for posting.

I signed up late yesterday afternoon and got my code this morning. However I was only able to get 12 burgers for $3.98, not 18. It is interesting, the discrepancies I have seen all over the internet regarding the prices of items. It is odd, but I won’t complain, because what a great deal! I really needed a cutting board and knives too. Thanks for posting the deal Mercedes! Oh and because I was able to pay with Paypal, no money out of my pocket!

Mercedes,
Try to sign up again with a different email, maybe a nickname, to switch it up. Never got the code with my first try, just a regular “Welcome email”, but with a second attempt, the “right one” with the code came in about an hour!

The sign up process and code seem as random as the prices you get with different links. Crazy, but cool!

I just noticed that sign up link says “Save on Omaha steaks wehn you sign up.”
Can somebody help with this question: did I forget to give the Geico link with this post initially? sorry about that.

ok so I just noticed one difference. when I clicked the geioco link i get a generic priviledge site, but the actual link is http://www.geicoprivileges.com/steaks so when I typed that instead it came up with a link at the top right that says Register and Save with omaha steaks which I was not seeing before. I hope I get the code now.

I just had to tell you that I did get my email with a code and it is still working. I think you need to be sure that when you sign up for geico, you see the “Register and Save with Omaha Steaks” brown link on top right side. It didn’t work when I used other people’s links only when I entered http://www.geicoprivileges.com/steaks and even that took a couple tries. so there’s still hope for those that haven’t gotten the deal yet if you have another email address you can use

To get the cutlery set, board AND the 6 free burgers you need to use this link when you are going to place your order…

This is the service email I received. The link originally given was not correct.
The Omaha Steaks $25 gift card will be included as a link in the welcome email you should receive for completing registration to the Privileges program.
You must register for this program separately at: geicoprivileges.com/steaks.
Click the link upper right hand corner that says

If anyone wants the referral email to get the 12 free burgers you can email me at agarza8178@aol.com. You have to decdie if you want that or the cutlery set, etc. , bc it won’t give you both offers.

Hi Mercedes,
I am really frustrated. I signed up Monday and got the e-cert code but did not use it right away. I waited and now I click back on my link and it says there should be a minimum of $100 purchase.
According to Geico, there was an overwhelming response with this offer and Omaha Steaks updated/changed it just this morning.
I should have used it right away.
Darn.

I'm bummed. I did the order on Monday, and (after quite a bit of time getting the links to work and all that) I ordered stuffed baked potatoes, plus the free cutlery set & 6 hamburgers for $1.98. But I just checked and I had an email from Omaha Steaks saying that because I used the rewards card from Geico I couldn't get the free gift because you can't combine promotions. I guess it's still an ok deal, but not nearly as exciting….
Has anyone else gotten this message?

I did, too….looks like Omaha Steaks or Geico didn’t like the number of orders they were getting, so they pulled the offer. Seems unfair that a gift card would negate their free offer, since they are getting the same amount of cash. Oh, well, $1.98 for 8 hamburgers isn’t bad, but I will not order from Omaha Steaks again!
