So, maybe you don’t have time to clip coupons, or maybe you think that the one coupon you get in the inserts inside your Sunday newspaper is not enough. After all, when you do find a good deal and want to couple it with a coupon to make it even better, it’s probably a good idea to stock up on the item.
Ways to start your own stash of coupons go from buying extra copies of newspapers, to collecting inserts from friends and family, to trading coupons with friends, trading coupons online or buying coupons online. When you procure coupons online you are not buying the coupon (that’s illegal), the cost charged per coupon is to pay for the service these people provide in collecting, clipping and mailing those coupons for you.
Here’s a list of coupon clipping services I have found:
- The coupon clippers: $0.50 per order admin fee (Paypal, CCs), service fee varies depending value of coupon, $3 minimum order. Some coupons are limited to Ten.
- Clip and Ship: No information about order minimum. Ordered $20 worth of savings, charged shipping fee of $0.5 plus service fee of $0.25. For a total of $1.95 total charges not bad if end up saving $20
- Taylortown: Coupons for less than $1/1 are .05 each unless otherwise noted on the coupon list. Coupons for $1/1 are .10 each. Coupons for more than $1/1 are 10% of the face value of the coupon. Postage is added to all coupon requests. Handling fees can be paid by cash (no coins), money order (no personal checks), stamps, free coupons I can use or Paypal transfers (no credit cards or eChecks). Unless you are using Paypal, a credit balance is required. Coupons will be held until payment is received.
- CentsOff: $7.5 one time membership fee plus $7.5 service fee per order of 50 coupons or less.
- Coupons and Forms: Minimum Order is $5. You do not have to order $5 from each page but the total order before postage must be $5. You must order a minimum of 5 of any coupon.
But to me when would it make sense to use of such service?
- To have coupons to stock on items I use a lot: right now I can think of things like wipes and diapers. I have bought coupons and held on to them until a sale came around to save a good deal of money.
- To take advantage of double coupon promotions or cyclical sales I have identified at my grocery store. The grocery stores around me frequently have sales that say 10 items for $10, or Buy One Get One sales, also 50% off sales. I have identified a few items that frequently show up on these types of sales and you can often find manufacturer coupons for them.
I would love to hear from other people who use or have used coupon clipping services and the situations where it has made sense for them to use these services.

Thanks for this post, I am curious about these services. I was wondering though, on Clip and Ship you say there is a service fee of $25, did you mean $.25?
Thanks Shannon. I corrected my mistake.

I have used thecouponmaster.com several times when I was just starting out and didn’t have very many coupons.
I used the coupon clippers (I currently no longer use them because of their shipping time – 5/6 days to receive your coupons) and I currently use the coupon master. I use these sites to purchase coupons for upcoming sales (if they are really great) and for things I purchase every week. For example, I purchase Frigo string cheese every week for my son to take to school with lunch. If I see a coupon for Frigo in my Sunday paper, I can go online and order additional coupons knowing I will use them all up. This beats out the cost of buying additional Sunday papers, uses less paper, and saves me time. Hope this helps!!
I love Coupons & Things by Dede. I get my order in two days. I have even ordered two times in one week and got everything in time for sales. I also like her because you can order full inserts. They also have a nice verity. The only negative is the shipping, I think the lowest is 5.95 with a 3.00 min. I like Taylortown's previews and only ordered once. Too slow getting my order. How about
Coupons Unlimited? How quick are they for their shipping?
I have used these services and Ebay to take advantage of truly great deals like the opportunity to stack a Target insert coupon and manufacturer coupon to get Juicy Juice boxes for .25 cents for a pack of 8. It was well worth the small fee to be able to fill my cupboard with these.
I haven’t used them but I have thought about using them since my husband has dropped the ball a few times to get the sunday paper, so I would want the whole insert.
Wondering if anyone has tried the Terri’s List service?????
Can anyone tell me how DealofDay compares? Angel or ted_d_bear on the forums lists a slew of coupons and her rates (+postage) are:
5 cents per coupon with face value up to $.99
10 cents per coupon with value $1.00 – $2.99
20 cents per coupon with value $3.00 and up
I have used a coupon clipping service that also has an EBay store, but they have just moved to their own website. They are The Coupon Carryout (http://www.couponcarryout.com) and they are having 15% off all orders through the end of June. They are located in Ohio and ship very fast.
I use http://www.couponclippingcrew.com they have next day shipping, discounts, give free coupons with each order – I love them!
Clip and Ship are now, apparently, a fundraising site. I didn’t find anything about coupons on there.
Thanks, though!
