You can see how I made $3.01 in overage here!

I took advantage of the J&J deal this week.
1- children’s motrin $6.00
1- children’s tylenol $6.00
1- mylanta $6.00
2- Stayfree pads 2/$9
Minus:
1- $2.50 off of the tylenol and motrin
1- $2.00 Q mylanta
1- B1G1 Stayfree Q ($4.50)
Not bad since I was going to be needing these products soon.
I’m new at this, but I think I found a good deal:
The Freestyle blood glucose monitoring system is $9.99, with a $9.99 mail-in rebate on the pack. BUT, there was a coupon in the paper today (1/4) for $9.99 off ANY Freestyle blood glucose monitoring system. So pay nothing except tax, and then get a check in the mail!
I’m NOT diabetic, but I’ll buy it if I’ll make $10!
>>Another Deal Idea
>>Buy four Stayfree Products and one Carefree products $4.50 each
>>Use Buy one Get one Stayfree coupon from 1/4 Red Plum insert
>>Use $1/1 coupon from 1/4 Red Plum insert
>>Spend $12.50 out of pocket and get $10 in ECBs back
Is that possible? I would like to try that.
But aren’t we using two coupons for one product? (Using the $1/1 and BOGO coupon.. just confirming.. before I go to CVS later this week.
Hi Xiao,
the $1 coupon I suggested you use is for the Carefree.
However you should be able to use a $/$$ coupon with a BOGO coupon because the BOGO coupon is used to get the second product for free. You are not getting any discount on the first product with it. The $/$$ coupon is applied to the first product. In essence you are using one coupon per item.

I bought Stayfree and OB products to get the $10 J&J ECB. Here’s what I bought/used:
4 Stayfree products ($4.50 each)
1 OB product ($4.50)
- 2 B1G1 Stayfree coupons (takes off $9 – you bought 4 Stayfree products so this is ok!)
- 1 $1/1 coupon for OB
Total: $12.50 OOP (get $10 ECB back). I thought it was a great deal!
I have a couple different deals that I did at CVS. Check out my blog
Stop by and see my deals.. I am still learning so I am sure I probably could have done better.
There are a lot of great deals this week!
There are more on Cha Ching Queen as well as a Linky for those that want to share their matchups and scenarios as well. Saving and Giving listed a scenario where you pay $0 out of pocket and get $2 ECBs.

I plan on making a CVS run and getting
the free Puffs along with some other things.
Have a great day! Thanks for posting your match ups.
