Hi! I am Mercedes and this is my blog Common Sense with Money! Helping other people live better, spend less, and save more is something I am very passionate about. I combine simple frugal living tips and smart shopping techniques to help moms across the U.S. become better home economists. Thank you for visiting my blog.

Don’t forget to check out the Christmas clearance – my store was marking them down this morning to 90% off! I got 26 rolls of Christmas wrap, 8 gift bags, 10 packs of tissue paper, and one box of Christmas cards (for $/gift cards) for less than $15. I saved more than $165.
I was going to say about the clearance too. I got Santa hats for my kids’ classes next year for 29 cents a piece and Christmas bears for nieces/nephews at $1.20. Plus, the lady was really nice and when my bill ended at $4.74, she took off another $4.00 for nothing! I paid 61 cents and saved $186 this morning!
Hi Mercedes,
I don’t know how long this sale lasts, but at the CVS’s near me, the double packs of Kotex pads/ panty liners are $3.29 (down from the 4.99), making them 29 cents per pack after the coupon and ECB’s.
I followed your list last week for the Walgreen sales and raked in the savings. Thanks for the deals!
Also, at CVS, Glad air fresheners 9oz are on sale for $0.99 and there was a coupon in today’s paper for $1/2. Not a stellar deal, but not bad if you need the product. Thanks again for posting all of these deals!
