Where to Use the Electrasol Coupon

by Mercedes on January 4, 2009

eletrasolAre you wondering where to use your $2.50 off one coupon you got in your Sunday insert?  Here are your best options:

Walgreens has it on sale this week for $3.49 but you also get $1.50 back via their rebate program when you buy one box.  Unfortunately the limit is one box.

Target has Electrasol on temporary price cut for $3.25 through 1/19.  I noticed my Target carried “bonus” boxes with five extra tabs.

If you don’t have a Target or it is out of stock, you can buy it at Walmart where it is on rollback at $3.50.

Finally, Kmart has Electrasol products on sale for $4 each through 2/2.

Those are your options at the big box stores.  The coupon expires pretty quickly so you don’t want to delay in using it.

Happy Savings!

Thanks for this! I never know whether or not to use my coupons because I never know where each item will be cheapest. :)

It’s not a big box store, but Pick/Save (and Copps & Rainbow I’m betting) have the Electrasol 2/$7 this week as well. I don’t use that brand but $1 seems like a good deal to me!

Meijer has electrasol on sale this week 2/$6. With this Sunday’s coupon, each box is only $0.50!

We stopped at Walgreens early this morning.
I got 2 boxes of Electasol, mine had the bonus packs of 25 and the regular 20 count. thue bonus packs were behind the 20 count ones so I think maybe they are newer.

I also got 4 of the Garnier hair productes.
A good deal trip for sure!

I’ll get the one at Walgreens but would you believe I still have TONS of boxes of these from when they had the FREE coupon, must of been a year or so ago. I think I ended up with over 60 boxes!!

My Wal-Mart had these marked down to $3.09 a box. I got 6 for .59 cents a piece.

My local WAGS flyer doesn’t show it for sale. Has anyone else noticed this?

If you take the paper from Target that shows the temporary price reduction with the date on it to Wal-Mart, Wal-mart will meet the price! It’s just like a price comparison ad!

My 8 year old son was excited about that coupon – he said Mommy we NEED some of that! (We are down to just a few gelpacs as it is.) Too cute that he would even notice…the kids LOVE to look through the coupons each week though so they can see what I **might** buy!

I’m not sure what Rite-Aid is charging, but they have a $2.00 rebate on Electrosal as well. It’s a limit of one, of course, but it shouldn’t be too much more than $4.50 a box!

My area didn’t get the coupon. :( Wah.

Rite Aid’s website shows the Electrasol at $6.29, but if you work it into a $5/25 scenario, you can get the Electrasol for a good deal (or free!) using the coupon and rebate.

My coupon fliers really are terrible. I never get any of the good ones. Didn’t get the Eletrosol or the stayfree b1g1.

I was looking to see if anyone else missed out on the Electrosol and Garnier coupons–it wasn’t among the fliers in my Sunday paper either. Does anyone know why this happens?

In any case, thanks to Mercedes for some great strategies to use with the coupons I am able to find.

Hi Lea,

You are not the only one getting shafted from the good coupons. My area didn’t get this coupon either. I use a clipping service or trade coupons to get the coupons that don’t come in my inserts.

This last weeks inserts were so good that I PAID for 7 papers at the Dollar Store ($1.00/each) & dh bought one for 1.75 at WAG on Sunday. I’ve NEVER spent that much on papers before but there were so many good/usable coupons this week. THEN the best was when I was at the Dollar Store buying ALL of their papers. I said they can keep the papers I just want the inserts, feel free to give away the papers to whoever wants them. They also had a STACK of the Early edition w/ all the inserts, I asked if I could have them, she said sure since I was leaving all the other papers there! I got another 11 sets of inserts from that!! I WAS STOKED!!! SWEET!!!

Publix groceries has Electosol on a BOGO for the next day or two. Great way to use the $2.50 coupon “to the max”. You don;t even really have to buy two boxes to use it and get the BOGO price (really half off).

Tom,
The Publix deal on Electrasol is not BOGO. It’s on sale for $3.99. I wish it was BOGO. I need a good deal before the coupon expires.
