Whenever I sign up for free subscriptions, I usually get a bill in the mail. Sometimes I get the bill before I even get the first issue. Do you just ignore the bill, since it’s supposed to be free?
I am getting so many free magazines also, with no bills! It is great, as I am a BIG magazine lover!
my first issue of metropolitan home just came yesterday. it really works.
These freebies do really work and I am enjoying the ones I signed up for (Woman’s Day, Martha Stewart Living). It’s the ones I didn’t sign up for that I am getting frustrated with. Somehow I got on a mailing list for a magazine that is targeted to 20 something males rather than 30 something stay at home mom’s. I politely asked to have that subscription cancelled. Then yesterday I received a free subscription to similar publication. I wish I knew where I inadvertently left my info so I can get it erarsed! Anyone else have this sort of problem when signing up for free publicatons?

Definitely don’t ignore a bill. That could turn out very expensive in the end. if you do get a bill call customer service. explain that you sign up for a FREE offer and don’t understand why you are getting a bill. if they don’t give you a satisfactory answer cancel the subscription on the spot. that way you won’t be responsible for any other charges.
I have never received a bill from these free offers either. after a while you will started getting notices to renew and what that charge would be. But never a bill for the free trial period.
