Do you really have to be frugal or can you just be sensible and not over spend. You don’t have to go over board with big presents, spend your money wisely and the party will be a hit.

We’re having a birthday party tomorrow too! My eldest turns 6 on Sunday and my youngest 4 on April 15. We always have their parties together. That certainly helps the food budget, and the gas budget of the families that have to travel. We are having a lunch of “make your own Mexican dish.” I have the basic ingredients prepared and they can eat their creation with chips, on a salad, in a tortilla, or on a tostada. Leftovers can be put into a casserole. Happy birthday!
