On my ad it says no internet coupons even though I have read where they accept them now. So will they take them or not?
I wish my store would particiapate in double coupons! You are lucky if you live by one that does.
Kmarts vary across the country! Our ad is only doubling up to $1 and it states no internet coupons! Thanks for the great list!
It’s funny, for some reason I get 2 different Sunday papers, yet almost NEVER get a KMart ad. Got my inserts early today and to my surprise found the double coupon promo. My store ad offers up to $2 doubling (although no internet coupons). I’m madly going through my coupons now (even to buy things that I don’t use, since there is a refugee family in my church, all donations are appreciated). I will post my numbers tomorrow! And I’ll make sure I find a circular every week from now on!
Internet coupons are not being accepted in the Minneapolis/St Paul MN area. Thanks for your list. I used it as a starter and updated it to reflect our local coupons and local circular.
When I went to K-Mart this morning, one of the K-Mart workers said that the statement issued from corporate this time around stated that you could not use more than one of the same coupon, so I was prepared to do multiple transactions. However, when I got up to the counter, the cashier tried it and it worked. Just thought I would put that out there! I got some good deals today and am looking forward to using the rebates from Glamour to make them even better!!! Thanks for the heads up!
How do you know if your store participate I live in Lake Placid florida the nearby kmart is in sebring.

The double coupons should be advertised on your Kmart circular, right on the front page. You can also check online of the Kmart website look up your local circular there by entering your zip code.

My Kmart is not participating this week… how often do they have the double coupon promo?
My store didn’t participate any in 2008 except for December. Since then, we’ve had doubles once a month. My store doubles up to $2.00, and this month only, started accepting IP coupons. Today was GREAT! If I’d been paying attention to the register (I had four of the same item ring up $2.00 more than it should have) and paid attention to my coupons(the glad candle Q is for $1.50 off of 2, not 1) I would have been in the negative. I’m sure they would have made me buy something else, but I can deal with that!
Thanks for the list, Mercedes, and thanks for the link to the $5/$50 coupon. That helped me tremendously. And from the print on it, it looks like it can be used several times during the week before it expires. It says only one per transaction.
Not this time in Southern California. I called on the phone and one Kmart said yes they were doubling coupons. I went and the girl at the service desk said yes. I spent 1.5 hours loading up my cart. I got to the register, the cashier examined each and every coupon. When she finally started ringing up the coupons they did not double. She called the manager and she said no, sorry. I left all my stuff there.
Just an update…went yesterday to K-Mart, and “bought” $123.98 worth of items but paid only $36.71 with all of my double coupons!
I don’t believe the $1.50/2 Ziploc coupon will work like that. Kmart’s ad says that they will not give overage and when you double a $1.50 coupon on a single item that costs $2.50 the coupon will only be good for $2.50, even though you had to buy two to use the coupon. I know it’s a strange concept and a little convoluted but this is how it has worked for me in the past at my Kmart. So, if you wanted to use the coupon it would go like this…
2 Ziploc Containers for $5.00 – $1.50 coupon – $1.00 for double up to cost on one = $2.50 for 2 or $1.25 each.
All coupons that are for “when you buy 2″ will double only up to the cost of one. Otherwise the computers see it as an overage.
Overall, it’s like doing a BOGO sale if the doubled coupon covers the cost of one.
The coupons will not work like this at my store for the free items. I’ve tried it! It the coupon doubled still equals more than the item (even if it is only a penny) it will only give you the single value of the coupon. The deals would be amazing if that was not the case – but sadly it is the way it has been on more than one visit for me.
I argued and won the argument that mncouponer and Monica stated. I had a couple of coupons for Suave body soap $2 off when you purchase 3 items. I had 2 coupons and 6 items but it only gave me the original $2 and didn’t double them. I argued that I bought nearly $7 worth of product in order to get the original $2, and even doubled wasn’t considered an overage. I also had a $2 for the purchase of 2 glade candle refills (4 total coupons), for a total of 8 coupons. The sale was 2/$5, so even doubled there wasn’t and overage. I was shorted $6 total and let customer service know. She explained to me that it was a computer glitch, but I think it was partially the cashier’s fault. When they begin to ring in the coupons, a screen pops up asking them to select the items. If they’re not paying attention, they won’t hit (for example) 3 individual Suave products. I believe this was the glitch. However, I may consider not using a coupon if it requires more than 1 item. I did get the $6 back, however!
I am in Ohio (Cleveland area) and I was wondering if there are any participating stores. Our ad doesn’t say anything about it but if so PLEASE let me know!! Thanks!!

Hopefully there are items left…I went back today with more coupons (mainly the Windex spray, Listerine, body soap). I was only able to get about half of the products I was looking for, everything else was cleaned off the shelves. This was at 2 different stores in my area.
I just posted a picture with coupon match-ups and prices from my shopping trip to the K-Mart in Cleveland, TN here. They are doubling up to $2.00.
I emailed Kmart they appear to have a poorly run marketing department. I pointed out we were in an economic crisis in case they had been vacationing on mars.
They wrote back giving me stores that participate in double coupons
in Florida. The closest was a 3 hour drive! The email went back and forth for several days. Finally they said they would pass it on,don’t know what that means. I don’t understand why they would only chose some stores and not all. I suppose they want some customers and not all.
