Thanks for the tips Mercedes!
I had a newbie question on the Fructis Hair care deal: is there a limit of 1 item per transaction ? I mean if I got two of the $2 off Easy Saver catalog coupons + two $1 off manuf. coupons. Is that allowed? I didn't see a limit on the ad, but I was sure you'd know the answer to this! Thanks in advance :o)

My walgreens experience was great...I ended up with 25 packages of diapers and used coupons for all of them. The lady there told me that I could use the coupons for any huggies item..therefore I was able to use some $5 off on pullups and on wipes that were not gentle care. They all scanned and worked just great! So, if you don't want Gentle Care diapers, use it on another product, as long as it scans in your good!

I just bought a total of 6 jumbos (two separate orders) and got the $10 RR rewards each time. The first time I used the $5 coupons (x3) and the 2nd time the $3 coupons (x3). I have one in size 3 now and am pregnant again, so this is an awesome deal for me.

The downside is that the cashier, the regular one at my local Wags, wouldn't let me use previous RRs on my purchase saying I could only use a total of 3 coupons since I only had 3 items. She also wouldn't let me use the ES $2 Fruitis coupon with the $1 manny coupon saying the item was only $.99 after the WAgs coupon. I plan to go to a different Wags and see if I get the same result w/ these issues.

Hi Mercedes,

THANK YOU so much for all of your great tips and posts!

Last week I tried using the Johnson and Johnson coloring book coupon, and it beeped. The manager pointed out that on the bottom of the coupon it states that it can not be combined with any other offer. So I only got to use it once (he took a 1.00 off of one of my baby powders), thus making it less of a deal for me, but still way better than full price :).

Hope this helps someone!

Hi Amy,
No idea why they coupons would beep for you. They went through fine for me three times. It's possible the coupons are not activated at your store. It would have been a good idea to try just the coloring book coupons without anything else or in any of the other products the coloring book coupons work in. It probably would have proved the point they are not activated at your store.

Hi!!
I did the huggies deal this morning and my $5 off coupons went through fine and my RR printed, but the coloring book coupon beeped and the manager said it couldn't be combined with any other offer?? Do you know how I could have avoided the "beep"? I even added gum so i would have 4 items and 4 coupons?? Thanks so much for your help!!!

For future reference! :)

I found this from another blog (who originally found this! :) !)and it really helps out "getting" the whole RR program! Personally, I'm a CVS gal- love how easy it is to roll ECB's and our CVS's all are staffed with just the best employees who are wonderfully helpful!!! Whereas, only one of our Walgreens' has that level of CS.Anyway, hope this helps this deal as well as future ones! Oooh, and BTW, these coupons are working on PullUps as well!!!!!

I used my $10 Dove RR to buy my Huggies diapers and I received a new RR for $10 from Huggies. I also used the coupons. So, $30 for 3 pkgs., 3/$5 coupons, and received $10 RR. In end, I paid $5. I have done this at 2 different Walgreens.

Just a question - your website says :
*Deal Idea*
$30 buy five Huggies Wipes Packs (if Walgreens carries Gentle Care type)
Use five $5/1 internet printable coupons
Pay $5 out of pocket and get $10 RR back.

Do you mean pay $15 OOP and get $10 back

Also, I see a comment above about paying with RR to get RR in an order. I know you can't roll RRs into the same RR order, but can I used the $8 RR from last weeks eye drops rr deal into the huggies deal this week?

Just to throw my experience in there: I purchased 3 jumbo packages of Huggies yesterday, used 3 $3 off coupons, and after that a $10 RR did print out. But I can sympathize with other commenters' experiences about them not printing out when you use other RR from different deals to pay for them. This is why, in my experience, I've only been able to "roll" RR if I use them to buy Free After Rebate items where I then can get money back.

I do find it interesting, though, that you can contact the Catalina company and get reimbursed directly from them. I may do that in the future.

Dear Andrea,
Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to respond to my concern about the diaper deal. Unfortunately, I'm afraid that I can't follow up on the problem I experienced for this reason: When the store manager told me that I did not qualify for the RR, I became frustrated and returned one pk of diapers to the shelf. (I really didn't need 3 pks for my grandchild anyway. Was only buying them in order to qualify for the RR.) Now I wish that I had bought all 3 so that I could follow up as you suggested. I'll know better next time. Again, I THANK YOU for your advice and for sharing your experience!!!!

Sally, that is NOT the case! Please call or email Walgreens/ and or the Catalina company about this. My total was about $14 after coupons for THREE transactions, every time the RR's printed. Odds are good his Catalina machine was malfunctioning or turned off (maybe just to discourage shoppers, who knows). But don't let this go. The Catalina company is very easy to work with too (they've corrected Kroger stuff for me before when the machine "ate" the coupon!) Just make sure you hold onto your receipt. You'll need it if you're gonna do the Caregiver's Marketplace rebate, as well (you can get back $.75 for each pack of Huggies you buy!!)

Unfortunately, the "Diaper Deal" did not work for me at Walgreens as well as I had hoped. My RR did not print after my 3 pkgs of diapers rung up. The cost of the diapers was $30 originally, but after coupons this was reduced to $19. The store manager explained that the total had to amount to $25 AFTER coupons in order to qualify for the RR. Oh well. At least the diapers were a bargain. Thanks for the deal tips, Mercedes!

Sally,
You can still get $10 RR directly from the catalina company. Please check out my faqs for more info.

The Butterball broth in Dallas is listed as regularly being $0.79, so a $0.10 discount per can with the Walgreens coupon. I had to buy 13 cans to get over the $10.00. Wanted to share in case so others can check the price.

I'm new to shopping at Walgreens. I tried most of the deals posted here and didn't get any register rewards. I talked to the manager and was told that they won't print if you use coupons. Is this correct? If it isn't, where can I find all of the details on shopping at Walgreens, so I can bring the policy with me. Thanks!

Hi Aira,
How frustrating. I have a couple of ideas though: first make sure the catalina machine is on otherwise the RRs won't print. Second, contact corporate. if coupons are excluded then they need to advertise the offer that way. it's called false advertising and it is illegal. Make sure corporate contacts the manager to set him right.
You may want a keep a copy of ads that advertised RR deals and also suggest you using coupons. You just need to look for them and keep a copy. The next time your manager tells you that you can't use coupons show him that ad.

OMG!! Thanks for helping put this deal together!! I can confirm that the Huggies coupons work on ANY Huggies product! Woo HOO!!! I got four packs of Size 4 Jumbos and 7 big packs of wipees for (essentially) $14.xx!!!! Once again, OMG!!!! We are set on wipes for a year!!! BTW, every Walgreens seems to operate on their own! :( We have two, on opposite ends of the street. One is almost always witchy about any coupons, and the other literally bends over backwards to accommodate any coupon thing you want to do! (I guess you know which one I went to! LOL!)

wwent to wags 1st thing this morning to ge the diapers and they told me I could only use 1 coupon per transaction- if I wanted to use 3 coupons I had to do 3 separate transactions. I tried persuading the mgr otherwise but I walked out empty handed. Have you ever heard of this ?????
