i just want to emphasize that although it is a good deal at amazon, it is not really %60 off. you can find it at walmart for a little less than $80 as an everyday price. you can find it elsewhere for less too.
and i would love to hear from people who have this… is the quality really good enough so you enjoy watching it later? and friend recommended the flip HD but it is much more expensive.

Thanks for the tip. My husband has been wanting one, but I didn’t really see putting a lot of money into something I thought we wouldn’t use that much. This fit the bill for both of us, and I even used $5 in swagbucks toward the purchase. Thank you for all the trouble & money you have saved me.

Hi Rachel,

You can record up to 30 mins at a time. If you have a DVD burner, you should be able to burn the videos you download from the camera to your computer back on to a DVD.

How long does it record at one time? Can you put the recording on DVDs? Does that look good? I kinda thought they were really only good for YouTube and online short videos. People are saying they are good for taking memories or your family so I’m surprised. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I have had a flip for a about a year and I love it – I keep it in my car – handy at parks etc!!!

Just wanted to add that I bought a Flip just before Christmas and it’s an awesome camera. I wouldn’t recommend it for stills, though you can get stills from the video, but they’re kind of grainy. Kind of like the pics from your camera phone. I’d like to get a digital video camera with higher resolution, but wasn’t ready for that investment just yet. So this fit the bill perfectly.
