I have been gone all morning to find out very important information. I had my “big” ultrasound today and you probably guessed it by now: It’s a healthy girl! After two boys,a husband and a boy dog, this household needed some balance.
Anybody having a garage sale soon? I am starting over in the girl clothing department. Although I hope to use a few items from the boys.

Congratulations! I’m 23 weeks pregnant myself, but my husband and I decided to keep this last one, our third, a surprise. We already have a daughter and a son so this one will be our surprise tie-breaker! By the way, I must’ve missed the post where you announced your were expecting! I had no idea and I subscribe to your blog! Can you point me towards it?
Congrats on the girl!! You will find uses for the little boy clothes. My daughter wears her brother’s pajamas and his old “play” clothes. But I hope that you have fun finding some girlie things too – girls are fun to dress!!!

Wow, that’s awesome! Congratulations! We must be pretty close together because I go for my ‘big’ ultrasound this Saturday! Just turned 18 weeks yesterday. I am spoiled though, I’m high risk so I’ve actually had ultrasounds every week for the past 8 weeks I think. It’s been so neat and awe-inspiring to see baby grow each week. This is our first and we’re not finding out what it is though. Our doctor knew at 13 weeks! I just have to remember to keep telling the technician Saturday at the hospital – WE DON’T WANT TO KNOW! I can’t wait to finding out how everything is going with the baby though. We’re really looking forward to it. Congratulations again and enjoy getting all of your pretty pink stuff!

We’re pretty high on testosterone levels here too. I have one daughter…followed by five boys. A husband and a male dog too! Enjoy the pink!

Oh goodness, congrats! I know what is like to be severely out numbered at home. I have 5 DS’s and one DH and on Feb 1st this year FINALLY got my DD who was a total surprise to us!

Check out http://www.labump.com, it’s like Craigslist (free to use an the money made selling you things is yours to keep) but is dedicated to maternity and kids stuff (lots of baby clothes)! Congrats on your blessing of a baby girl! We are expecting our girl in 3 months, and started over in the girl department as well. I was able to pull out some generic clothes from my son’s stash, and was fortunate to have a friend give me the girl clothes her daughter has outgrown.
