Mars Chocolate, the makers of M&M’s, Dove, Twix, Snickers and Milky way, will be giving away 250,000 coupons for free chocolate bars every Friday through September of 2009. This is for what they are calling the Real Chocolate Relief Act. I don’t know if you have noticed but the makers of the major competing brand now make Chocolate Candy instead of milk chocolate products. If you are major chocoholic, this is something you may want to learn a bit more about. But for now enjoy all of those millions of chocolate bars Mars will be giving away.
The giveaway starts tomorrow 5/8 at 9AM EST through 11:59 PM EST. However allow 6-8 weeks for delivery of your coupon. Limit of one coupon per email address per Friday and four coupons per household total. To claim your coupons register for it here in the time period I mentioned.

Has anyone been able to make this work? I’ve been trying for over 30 minutes. Part will load, then fail, or just straight to a failed load, etc. I sure hope folks aren’t loading up dozens and ruining it for everyone.

The site is getting hammered with lots of traffic. They have limits on how many coupons you can claim so that’s always good for everyone else.

I cant get past the birthday verification, even through the Mars homepage . . .
I can’t get past the first page where it asks you to enter your birthday. I just get an error when I click verify. =(
Well, I have been trying for 20 minutes now. I’m starting to think it might not be worth the .50 cents I’m going to save on a candy bar. But there is just something about getting something free that I can’t resist. =) So I’ll probably try later.
Psht. I wish a candy bar still cost fifty cents. Last I knew, it was anywhere from seventy-five cents to a dollar. Which isn’t -that- much, but when they used to be on sale for thirty-three cents…
