Here’s a huge moneymaker deal to liven up Memorial Day weekend: CVS has a weekly deal going on when you buy 2 Neutrogena sun care or sunless tanning 0.47-6.7 oz, you get $10 extra care bucks back.  The limit on this deal is one per card. It’s being reported that Neutrogena Ultra Sheer SPF 55 1 ounce is working on this deal.  This small tube sells for $1.99 each.  Buy two and pay $3.98 plus tax out of pocket and get $10 ECBs back!!

Thanks to reader Andrea for alerting me to this.

I just ran out and could not find this size. Is it with the suncare or trial sizes?

    • Mercedes says:

      Tatiana,

Both are great places to look for this. Also look around special displays. Finally it is aso possible your store doesn’t have it. There’s been many times I have gone on the hunt for this special products at CVS just to learn my store doesn’t carry that size/product.

i live in oklahoma— what page of the cvs ad is this on? Can’t find it.

  3. MARVELLA says:

sorry just found it on page 8

  4. Alexis says:

    Here’s the UPC: 0 70501 48792 1

  5. saral says:

I searched the trial size, the suncare, and the pharmacy and the checkout areas and couldn’t find it.
oh well, you win some, you loose some :)

  6. Andrea Reynolds says:

In our CVS, it was located near the front of the cosmetic section where they display newer beauty items, in a large cylinder type container.

  7. Betty says:

Searched high and low and couldn’t find it. bummer.

  8. Carie says:

I went and found them this morning. My CVS has lots of them. Now how can I get some more bucks?

  9. Kristie says:

I have quite a few CVSs in my area, so I tried two of them today. NEITHER had this product in any section – new beauty care, trial sizes, registers, etc. Oh well… the sale still goes on for the rest of the week so I’ll try other stores in a few days. Hope to roll these ECBs to get the Thermacare deal and more ECBs…

  10. Amanda says:

I found them in the cosmetics section in a basket. They were thrown in with other beauty item like loose lip gloss. They were not with the other sunscreen. Hope that helps others find them!

  11. Tracy says:

I checked 7 different stores in AZ and never found them. Several stores thought I was up to up something and started following me, 1 store actually asked what I was looking for. :)

  12. Andrea Reynolds says:

Tracy- should’ve told them, “That’s for me to know, and you to find out when I check out- with a big ol’ grin on my face!” LOL!

  13. Heather says:

I looked all over and couldn’t find them. Didn’t try the cosmetics section though. I might have to go back for that.

  14. Merrilee says:

I looked all over at my CVS & was about to give up, but then I found them on the bottom shelf endcap of a display near the cosmetics! They were in a small clear plastic container. I snagged 2 & the $10 ecb did print! :) Yippee! I am in central VA. Hope this helps-good luck to everyone!

  15. Mary Beth says:

Found mine in the travel size section. It was on the top shelf, above the bins, in a clear plastic container made to look like one of those “olde tyme” round apothecary jars with a diagonal opening on the side. I couldn’t believe it, but the deal worked! And so did my BOGO Sobe coupon with the BOGO sale — I’ve never tried this before and am so excited. REALLY LOVE CVS!

  16. Michelle says:

I found them in 2 stores: one was an end-aisle display in a clear plastic container (among other Neutrogena products); the other store had them along the cosmetics aisle, but still in the clear plastic container. Bought 2: $10 ECBs printed! Yipee! THANK YOU FOR THIS DEAL!

  17. stacy says:

CVS flyer states: prices starting at $7.35. Although the deal might work, it is not the store’s intent to give you $10 for spending $4. Hopefully they will find this error and correct it before they lose more money. I am not going to try this deal.

  18. Karen says:

It worked for me in Tampa, FL. Thank you.

  19. Jane says:

I do not think this is an ethical deal since the ad states prices start at $7.35. It’s these kinds of things that make CVS do less and less Extra Bucks deals.

    • Mercedes says:

      Hi Jane and Stacy,

But the size is also within the size range specified in the ad. So, really there’s support for both sides of this argument.

      Mercedes

  20. sara says:

    Jane and Stacy-
I personally think that CVS and Neutrogena are 100% aware of the “hidden deal”. Hidden deals like this increase the online chatter about the stores and increase foot traffic into the stores.
They TOTALLY know what they are doing-it’s all marketing.
If they didn’t want it to work they wouldn’t have set the UPCs to work.

  21. Heather says:

Looked again and still can’t find it. Darn! Oh well, I still had a great day at CVS. The “magic coupon machine” printed me a $10 off $50 purchase coupon. So I got about $70 worth of stuff for $16+ and got $18+ back in ECB. I have one more store I can try to find the nutragena at.

  22. Catrina says:

Woohoo!! Found them with the regular suncare products in a plastic tub. Worked fine! Thanks so much.

  23. Shawn says:

I looked @ 2 different stores today in every section I could think of, but never found them. 1 more store left to try tomorrow. Wish me luck!

  24. Erin says:

I looked for them for a few minutes and then asked the cashier if they had them. She said no and walked away. I found them on a bottom shelf by the makeup area in a plastic bin. when cashing out the cashier goes wait can i see your extra bucks again, looked and then said wow that is the biggest glitch I have ever seen. I said oh ok have a great day. lol

  25. abbyt says:

They had them hidden behind the register!!! I asked if they carried it and the lady pulled some from the bucket behind the register. But luckily i found some
