Mercedes, First let me say how much I love your blog…it is awesome. I have a question. On the skippy/ragu deal, why are you buying 7? I went and bought 6 Ragus today, w/ 6 coupons and it worked. I wasn’t sure if I missed something.

I am glad to hear it worked with 6 items because the total is $9.95 or so which is less than the $10 advertised. Some of these deals sometimes work out that way and other times you do have to spend more than $10.

One quick question, I got a coupon that’s $4 off purchase of $20 or more. Does this mean my Out of Pocket should be $20 or just the total before coupons?

The $20 is before coupons. What you do, is once you have $20 in items you hand that coupon first. Then the rest of your manufacturer and/or CVS coupons and you should be OK.

Quick question re: the Bayer glucose monitor. In the ad, it says that “no discounts apply.” What does this mean? Will I encounter any problems using the “up to $30 off” coupon?

I am not sure but I think that refers to the rebate. I know a number of people have been denied the MIR because they used a coupon, paid zero out of pocket and still sent in for the rebate.
