new to couponing here, had a question about the Schick Razors. You say to buy 2 and use 1 coupon but the coupon is for $2 off one razor right? So how can u use it on two trial sizes? I have seen this before in other blogs too and I don’t understand how it works. Thanks so much!

hi Cassandra,
In this case the coupon doesn’t exclude trial sizes and it is being used on two to get the value of the items to as close to the value of the coupon. However, your cashier may choose to adjust the value of the coupon down to 99 cents and he would be in the right since the coupon is as you pointed out $2 off one item.
In short, the coupon us off of one item, you could buy or more items with the onecoupkn that’s your choice. Now if the coupon was $2 of two items you have to buy the two items required to use the coupon.
I hope that helps with your question.

I couldn’t find the coupon for the arm & hammer detergent. All of the coupons on their website are for other arm and hammer products. Am I missing something?
Thanks for your site!

The soup coupon is for “cooking soups.” I wonder if they will take it for tomato and chicken noodle?

Tammie,
Check the Campbells website. the soup of Tomato is considered a cooking soup.

Hefty OneZip bags 8 ct are in the dollar/bargain section of CVS stores priced at $1. Use the $1/1 coupon to get them free. The box of OneZip with the other bags/paper goods is 22 ct and costs $3.29-don’t get this one!

The coupon for AlkaSeltzer says “excludes Antacid products” on it. Is that what this is?
Thanks for a great list!

Where is the “dollar/bargain” section at CVS? I tried to find the hefty onezip 8ct. bags but only looked in the normal “paper goods” section with all the other bags. Thanks!

Where is the AlkaSeltzer deal in the ad?

Regarding the cooking soups, I bought 2 Campbell’s chicken noodle soups and used the $2/1 Campbell’s cooking soups coupon. The register beeped when the cashier scanned the coupon, but the clerk looked at the coupon and then forced it through. In my opinion, chicken noodle and tomato ARE considered cooking soups – there are plenty of recipes that use these soups – but perhaps the coupon was only intended to work with specific “cooking” soups (cream of mushroom, etc). The coupon wasn’t really specific about which ones. Moral? It’s really up to the cashier to enforce it, so it’s worth a try.
