they have “Double Daze” every wednesday. Spend $25 after store coupons and sales (but BEFORE manufacturers coupons).
5 coupons up to $1 in value get doubled. The register will automatically double on the register, make sure all you $1 (or whatever coupons you want doubled) are scanned first because the register will double the first 5 coupons scanned. Once I accidentally mixed up my coupons before handing them to the cashier and my $1 coupons were on the bottom of the stack and so my 75 cent coupons go doubled instead
Also coupons are only doubled up to the value of the item. So if you are buying something for $1.50 with a $1 coupon the register will take off the $1 coupon value and then double it only 50 cents. It doesn’t give overages.
It’s just something to think about when deciding what coupons to double. I try to make sure it’s always $1 coupons for products that cost at least $2

I’m happy to have found deals for Copps! I have a question. I haven’t done this yet and was wondering if it’s every Wednesday or just the 1st Wednesday of the month that they do this. It’s only up to $1 right? And you have to have at least $25 in purchases before the coupons to use 5 coupons, correct? Can’t wait to get started!

If I go during a busy time I will only do one order, or two if it’s a real simple order like the Kellog’s deal. I also don’t like holding up the line and frequently have FREE coupons, which take longer to enter (price lookup needed). If it is a slow time I will do two transactions at once with minimal stress. I go out to the car after checkout and then back in for another round.
I usually have my transactions mapped out before I shop to save time.
Sounds like your run was pretty much my standard. I’ve never done more than two transactions at once.

I was wondering how people shop for, divide and pay for multiple orders. Is everything divided in the cart? Do you take stuff to the car between orders? I hate holding up the line to do more than 2 orders at a time. It’s also a challenge to keep everything seperated in the cart. Any tips or pointers would be wonderful. I did the Kellogg’s deal, put it in my car, shopped and paid for 2 more transactions then at the last minute decided to do the Kellogg’s deal again because I had enough coupons. This took just under 2 hours and I was feeling a little frazzled at the end. I felt like I was running around the store in circles. Thanks for the help.

I did the Pamapers & Duracell deal today. It worked fine with my coupons. The $5.00 came off immediately after the Pampers and batteries were scanned. At the end of my order which was greater than $25.00 my coupons for the Pampers, batteries and everything else doubled without a problem.

Taralee, I did a similar deal last week on GM cereal where $10 came off instantly. So, my total was 19 something before coupons. My coupons still doubled. So, my guess is, it will work the same way.

if you do the save $10 instantly cereal deal do you need to get your orignial total to $35 (before instant savings) in order to double your coupons? SInce you have to spend $25 after store coupons and savings are factored in, I am wondering if the “instant savings” fall under that category.

If you do the Kraft deal to get the free hamburgers and buns make sure to grab two packages of buns. They are BOGO FREE, so one will come off your total with your loyalty card and you will have a catalina to make the other one FREE too.

I did the Pampers deal with coupons and it only took of $2.50 but when I went to the service desk they couldn’t tell me why so they gave me the other $2.50. so if you do this make sure you look before you leave.

For the Kellogs Cereal deal I found some tear-pads in stores recently for free fresh fruit if you buy (1) Special K cereal and (1) Dannon 1-Quart Yogurt.
At my local Copps the yogurt is on sale for $2, so if you can find this coupon a deal could look like this:

8 Kellogs Cereals (At least one Special K) $20 (-$23 after all deals/coupons)
1 Dannon Yogurt $2 (free from cereal overage)
$2 worth of fruit (Free after coupon)
$1 in any type of product (free from cereal overage)

Total after coupons: just tax

For me, I’ll be doing $3 in blueberries one transaction and then $3 in strawberries the next, so I can make up a free fruit & yogurt parfait to bring to a fourth of July celebration.
