The deals are so good at Target this week, that I decided to pack the kids and head out to shop this morning. I was very excited to find the gallon bags of Ziploc Expandable Bottom for $2.49. This is what I got:
$9.96 four boxes of 28 count bags
- $4.98 when I use two BOGO coupons from 5/3 inserts (coupons self adjusted)
-$1 when I use one $1/2 manufacturer coupons from 5/10 inserts
-$4 when I used four $1/1 Target coupons (my local Target allows using more than one Target coupon per transaction)
=-$1.02 Yes! I got paid to buy Ziploc bags!
I also noticed that Ziploc containers sell for $2.29. If you buy two and use the coupon for $1.50/2 from 5/10 inserts and two $1/1 Target coupons and you will pay only $0.54 each. Check your packages too as some of them have peelies for $1 off one.
But here’s the freebie I found: there was a Target coupon for $1/1 any Cottonelle or Toilet paper in this past Sunday’s (6/7) Smartsource coupon inserts. I used the coupon on the travel size pack of Cottonelle wipes (found in the travel section) and the coupon went through without any beeps and I got free wipes!! Note: Target coupons are notorious for being regional, so if you don’t find this coupon in your inserts chances are your area just didn’t get lucky this time.
I always hesitate to post deals when you need to have a coupon adjusted because I know the frustration this may cause to some of you. So I am excited to share this one where you get your item for free without any beeping coupons.
Happy Savings!

Good find! We got this in California too.
I wish I could have a great trip to Target and not get hassled but I finally got a letter from target apologizing and including the coupon policy.

Wow… great shopping! I have to look again for those cottonelle coupons, I don’t remember seeing them… I like SO many people out there have had issues with Target in regards to coupons. I posted it about it here, complete with corporate policy, and how to resolve coupon issues IN THE STORE via Guest Relations. wow!!! thanks, i didnt catch that the coupon for cottonelle also said it was valid on wipes too, thats great!!!! Although I had already used one of those to get the 12pack of cottonelle for $4.49 after stacking that coupon with the $1off coupon that came in the mail with the cottonelle sample from Walmart.
Man, I just wish I’d gotten the BOGO Q’s here!
