Save $5 off your $25 or more purchase at Walgreens on June 10 and June 11th with this newly released Walgreens coupon. The coupon states the $25 is after all manufacturer coupons, Walgreens coupons and store discounts, so keep that in mind in your planning.  Here’s a a scenario I came up with to help you get started:

$2.99 Carmex
$5.49 Veet Sensitive Formula Hair Removal Gel Cream
$5.99 Purex 3 in one
$14.99 when you buy three Snuggle Fabric softener at $4.99 each
$3 two Ban Deodorants
= $32.46
- $3 three $1/1 Snuggle printable coupons
-$2 Veet printable coupon
-$1 one 1/1 Purex printable
-$0.80 two Ban $0.40/1 coupons from 6/7 inserts
=$25.66 after manufacturer coupons total
-$5 off $25 Walgreens coupon
=$20.66 plus tax out of pocket and you get $2 RR from Carmex, $2 RR from Purex, $2RR from the VEET, $1 RR from the Ban and $5 RR from the Snuggle.

It’s hard to get excited about this coupon this week as there aren’t any free after register rewards items.  But hopefully you can put it to good use.  Thanks Deal Seeking Mom!

Happy Savings!

is it really possible to get more than one RR in one transaction? I have never been able to do that in the past and when I would ask about it, they would just shrug their shoulders at me and say that they don’t control what coupons it generates, etc.

Wendy,

I know I am not the only one that does it all the time.

I am new to using coupons and RR. When I used to go to my Walgreens they would take as many RR that I had and take them off the total. Now they will only take one RR when I use them at time of purchase. It’s made it so it’s really not worth go and using the RR because I would have to make several trips.Does that make sense? Is this happening at other Walgreens?

Hi Becky,

My store used to be like that. Sometimes a talk to the assistant manager or store manager how a policy like that affects their business helps get the message across. Inconveniencing customers is bad business.

Their rr that print out have an expiration date. Are they firm with the expiration date?

Hi Carie,

yes, they are. Walgreens doesn’t take expired RRs.

I did a couple of scenarios last night, the Purex deal is almost too good to pass up. Also a heads up that if anyone has a nearby Kmart, I found a tear pad of $1.50/1 Purex 3-in-1 coupons good anywhere!

My Walgreens took my expired RR the other day with no problem, but they were only one day expired.

Just a heads up, the Johnson’s baby powder is $.99 and generates a $1 RR, a nice filler if you need a small RR item. If you have coupons, you can get them for free and make a dollar, but I bought 1 extra to get my total up.

I’ve used expired RR many times and never had a problem.
