I just signed up fo the rewards program! Staples is much closer to my house than Office Max so, this is perfect!

From what I gather the Staples reward program pays you back in the form of a store credit towards a future purchase only at Staples, correct? I’m assuming by the wording that it’s not a check that can be cashed like the Easy Saver Rebate checks can be.

Does anyone know how long it takes for the Staples backpack credit to post to your Staples account? I’m hoping it’s instant!

Laura,
I am reading on Slickdeals that the credit will be available until October. These staples rewards post at the end of the quarter and the current quarter ends on 9/30. You have 100 days to use it. Make sure to read more about the staples rewards program using the link I provided.

Mercedes,
I asked a cashier in the store and he said the reward would be credited to my account in October. He didn’t mention any limitation on how long I have to use the reward, but I’ll make sure to read up on the program to check into that. Thanks for the info!
Does anyone know if the deal only applies to actual backpack that you wear on your back, or will they credit the cost of a messenger-style bag as well? I’m really interested in the Jansport black messenger bag, but I don’t want to buy the bag if it’s not included.

Thanks for this tip! I went to Staples yesterday and was able to find a cute backpack, all of the rebates, and picked up a couple of $1/$2 items! I was excited to get all of this free stuff!
