I had a problem recently where my Rite Aid wouldn't accept any internet generated coupons, and they would not honor the B1G1 Stayfree sale 2 weeks ago (both free with sale and coupon). I was told that they could only accept internet coupons that had a RA logo on it. They couldn't do the B1G1 stayfree because their registers were over 20 years old and she could not override the system. I had to go to another RA to get the Stayfree. Thankfully I could use the $5/25 coupon no problem, and I still qualified for a $25 rebate. I e-mailed RA customer service regarding the coupon policy, and they responded:

"Thank you for taking the time to contact us. The cashier in question is not following Corporate Coupon Policy. I have provided our policy below for your reference. Should you want to file a complaint, please provide the actual store # or address of the Rite Aid in question.

Coupons, and their face value, cannot be exchanged for cash. Front-end competitor coupons will not be honored at Rite Aid. Coupons are to have a valid expiration date, those that are expired or ineligible will be returned to the customer.

One internet coupon can be used per item; however, there is a $5.00 limit on each internet coupon. Similar to manufacturer's coupons, only one internet coupon is accepted for each item, unless coupled with a manufacturer's or valuable coupon found in a Rite Aid circular."

Hopefully this will help some people. I haven't done any recent purchases at my RA, but when I go this week, I plan on taking my e-mail copy and showing it to the cashier if there is any issue.

I am new to using Rite Aid and today I went in and asked to have my diapers rung up in 2 transactions so I could take advantage of the $5/$25 coupon. I was informed by the cashier that they only accept 1 internet coupon and the coupon can't be over $5 in value. So I only did one transaction and she was reluctant to take my $5/25 coupon and $2 pull up coupon. I had a manufacturers coupon from Huggies that came in the mail and she wouldn't take that. I'm not sure why she wouldn't accept that one because it wasn't internet. I was hoping to get 5 packs of diapers to get the 6th free. I might just end up trying a different Rite Aid in the area or go in each day and buy one pack of diapers to use my internet coupons. If they didn't have so many promotions right now I would be going to Walgreens where I never have had problems with coupons.

Does anyone have any ideas for transactions without Little Swimmers? I use the aswim diaper hardly at all. Maybe I'll try to add in jumbo packs of diapers. (I need size 4 or bigger)

I just did 2 transactions at RA and had no trouble. I thought they might be picky about me using two $5/25 but nope - no problem.

Hi Chriscia,

But the coupon doesn't state anythng about it being before or after coupons. So it seems they are making their own rules. For example, if you look at the Walgreens coupons they are very clear about the $25 being after manufacturer and store coupons.

Just FYI, some rite aids are getting really picky about the $5/25 coupon. The past 3 that I have been to make you have a total of 25 AFTER all other coupons :( It has never been like this. They said that corporate said they have to follow the wording of the coupon because people have been taking advantage of them.
