A few of you left me a comment expressing that you weekly Staples sales ad didn’t have the $5 off $20 coupon I used in my scenario. Well, I have great news! The $5 off $20 coupon is available for printing on the Staples website. The coupon is good through 7/18/09. Make sure to use it to get good deals on all the back to school sale items they have going on this week.

How come it says minimum purchase of $100 in the fine print??

I just wanted to let all of you know that my Staples add didn’t have this coupon in it…but the printed add mentions in the body of the add that there should be a coupon on the front page. I brought this to the attention of a Staples employee, and was told to let the cashier know that I didn’t have the coupon but would like to take advantage of it because it mentions it inside the add. The cashier has the code to apply this coupon, and I was taken care of without actually having a hard copy of the coupon in hand. You might want to try this too!
My Staples told me that the coupon was only in the newspaper insert ad, not the ad they have in the store. My newspaper didn’t have the Staples ad. She didn’t offer me the discount either. She did tell me that if I found an ad and brought the coupon in, she would refund me $5. I didn’t get her name and now when I read the coupon I just printed it says “no cash/credit back”. My Staples is also 35 min. away. Probably can’t get back there this week.:-(

I was so excited to take advantage of this coupon and the back to school deals! I bought 2 packs of copy paper, 2 packs of photo paper, a 2-pk of scissors, and 2 packs of pencils. I paid $24.96 OOP and will get back more than $25 in rebates!! And you can submit online, so no stamps to pay for!
