Hi! I am Mercedes and this is my blog Common Sense with Money! Helping other people live better, spend less, and save more is something I am very passionate about. I combine simple frugal living tips and smart shopping techniques to help moms across the U.S. become better home economists. Thank you for visiting my blog.

I received an email from REDBOX that if you buy 2 Post cereals between July 17-Aug 9th in one trip that you would receive a code good for one free night movie rental from Redbox at Walgreens.
I received a “Back-2-School” booklet in the mail from Walgreens. In the center, there are 5 pages of coupons. The coupons say “Manufacturer coupon good only at Walgreens”.
So since these are manufacturer coupons, I can’t stack them like the usual in-ad coupons —- is this right?
Thanks.
While I did well on the school supplies sale, I was extremely upset to be told by my cashier that Walgreen’s doesn’t accept internet coupons. I asked if this was a new policy, and she said no, they had never taken IP’s. Of course, I asked for a manager since I have been using IP’s at this store for several months, as recently as Saturday. He told me that yes, Walgreen’s does NOT accept IP’s. Anybody else been told this? I am going to call a few other Walgreen’s in my area to see what’s going on . . .
I was told the same thing by an asst manager on the 14th. He also wouldn’t let me use more than one RR even though I had 5 more items than I had coupons for. I wrote Walgrrens on the 15th but so far have had no response from them. Their online coupon policy has not changed.
My walgreens had excederin 2pks (40 ct each) wrapped together as bigi so I was able to get 4 boxes for free after coupons and register rewards.
Carrie – Point out to them that Walgreens.com — their OWN website — has a tab now to print out online coupons for use in the store. (They use coupons.com even!)
Then ask for the name of the District Manager, and contact the DM to complain. You should get very helpful results >:)
[ p.s. I work for walgreens and we DO take internet coupons ]
They should be able to take coupons now. I remember like a year ago or longer that whatever store i was working at we weren’t allowed to accept them because some were false coupons, but now I never hear that we can’t take them anymore.
I went to Walgreens last night and I didn’t get the bogo on the excedrin. Does anyone known when that sale ends?
Also, does anyone know when the Dove body mist deal ends. I didn’t get my $2 RR
Kevin
