I tried to get the Hugry Hippos game this week and could not. The coupon states “on one game on a multi-game purchase”. So if you want to buy 2 travel games, you can get them for $6, which is still not a bad deal. But it beeps with just the one game.
I don’t see the new Target coupons on the HCW generator yet. am I missing something?
Hi Diane,
They probably have not gotten around adding them yet. but they are also available in the Target website if you need them asap.

I haven’t been to Target in quite awhile and this roundup looks so awesome I may have to make a trip soon. Awesome job!
I couldn’t find the edy’s coupons on red plum., did they refresh the coupons?
Hi Jenny,
no, the Edy’s coupon was available in a red plum newspaper insert not website.

Hi, I’m not how much a Schick Quattro for Woman or Intuition Plus Razor goes for @ Target, but there is a $4 off Target coupon in 8/30 Smart Source pair it with $4 off manufacturer coupon in All You August issue.
The Quattro for Women is $6.99 and the Intuition is $8.29 at my Target. I wasn’t sure if they’d let me use two $4 coupons on the $6.99 razors so I bought the Intuitions instead and paid .29 for each.
the intuitions were 6.99 at my target…. scored 1.01 overage on each one!!! I bought 5 razors and the kellogg’s deal (except they were out of pretzel ones so I paid non-coupon on one). cost around 1.00 and got a 5 gift card!!! Going to be a good week at target for sure!!
I got lots of Special K! Soo happy!
Here is my money-making scenario for the Special K deal…using the Kellogg’s Fuel for School rebate.

It’s going to be sweet if it actually works!
I had a terrible time at Target today. I tried to use store and manuf. coups together on Tide, the Dove deal and the Special K bars and neither the computer nor the cashier would take both coupons for the items. The General Mills coups could not be used on the cereal cups. When I went to return the food at customer service the manager was really rude because they had to throw all the food away, he said. I did not know that was the policy and felt horrible.
I just got back from Target. I bought 12 of the special k in one transaction so I can do the back to school rebate. I was able to use 8 of the Target 50 cent coupons for the bars and got $15 in gift cards!
Also- I saw that Rice Krispie Treats are on sale for $1.75, buy 4, get $5 gift card. With two $1/ 2 coupons, those are free!
And-
The cinnamon pecan variety of the special k cereal had a $1 off coupon on the back for Special K bars. Be on the lookout!
Just wanted to come back to say that the scenario I linked to yesterday WORKED today with no beeps, no problems. I got 12 items in one transaction and got 3 $5 gift cards and will submit it for the $10 Kellogg’s rebate. All told, a $6.57 money maker!
I could not find the Hungry Hippo’s game at the Sheboygan Target–perhaps they were already gone?? I did learn a valuable lesson today. I’ve been using coupons and making deals for years, but I’ve learned so much through Mercedes. Today I thought I was making a super deal using the Manufacturer’s coupon for Schick Quatro combined with the Target coupon–each is a $4–thinking I’d get the product free with change. I had my “gem” deal on the bottom of my coupon pile, and because I had such fantastic deals today, the computer would not let me use my final $4 coupon. They would have owed me money–I would have paid nothing on the whole transaction, and the clerk told me that is illegal in Wisconsin. From now on, my best coupons go on top of the pile! I would have felt a lot better not being able to use a .50 center!
Good job Pam! did you hand the manufacturer Schick coupons first and then the Target ones? I read on a message board of the same happening to someone else. The last coupon wouldn’t take.
Mercedes
I just got back from Target – all the coupons worked except for the Hungry Hippos (clerk said I had to buy the multi-pack so I didn’t buy the game). Good deals!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
Worse exoerience ever with coupons. My cashier would not accept any of the Target coupons I had that were more than what I was buying. FOr example, I tried purchasing the cereal cups and I was not allowed to use the $1 off. What blew my mind was I was unable to use an All detergent coupon for a trial size even though the coupon says “ANY size”. The trials were $1.07 and the cashier said she would not take it. I was so pissed off, I asked for customer service and also the manager. The manager was also rude and did not seem to be able to give me a clear answer on the coupon policy. I tried to explain to her that the coupons did not have any restriction on the coupon and therefore, I should be allowed to use them. It is not our fault that shoppers are outsmarting the stores. If they do not want people walking away with free items, then make better coupons. I felt like I wasted a few hours with coming up with my plan, clipping & printing coupons, taking the trip up there, shopping, and then being held up in line for 20 minutes. WTH! I don’t think i will ever shop at target again.
I’m not finding many of the listed items at my local target. Is that typical for Target Stores? Are the travel sizes supposedly located in the ‘travel size’ section only? I didn’t find any of the travel size items that are listed for this week. Also, is the “$1 Spot” the area just inside the entrance? I typically only see cheap children’s trinkets in that area. Some of the other items, such as the Johnson’s Buddies Soap Bar, were also not available. Just want to know what to expect from my visits to Target! Thanks.
My Target often doesn’t have the items that are listed here either. Nothing good in the $1 section. Limited selection of travel sizes (and it’s doubtful if the cashier will accept the coupon). No Buddies or Gerber bottles at my Target lately. And some food prices are higher at my store than what other people post. Every Target is different it seems!
