I also had some issues with the deals this week. I purchased the Carefree, 3x 2oz Candels, and Theraflu Today. I purchased these same items yesterday with other RR and coupons that I had without any issue. However, today not one RR printed. The manager was on hand and was kind enough to review the items and weekly circular and noted what others have said “Manufactuare Coupons prevent (RR) from printing.” He did end up providing me with a Wallgreens’ Card for the amount that should have printed.
I know this wasn’t true from yesterday’s transaction so I wonder if there might be something else in play.

Tyree, I hear you. Walgreens seems to change the rules all the time. Last time I tried to get a RR, they told me I couldn’t use manufacturer’s coupons on a deal that was supposed to give a RR. I am an avid couponer but nowadays I refuse to go for any RR deals. They are just not worth it to me, as I have to politely battle with the manager nearly every time it seems. They don’t have a coupon policy from corporate, at least not one that I’ve seen online anywhere, and that is not legit to me. I wrote a strongly worded letter to corporate via the website but only got a call from a local manager, who had her own set of rules, but nothing from corporate. Anyone else thorougly frustrated with Walgreens???

Missed one! The Glade 2 oz candles which had FREE coupons in the paper about 4 weeks back ~ they are “buy 2 get $1 RR” until 9-14.

I have lots of $5 RR’s to roll so it is a great way to use up my free coupons as I am rolling!

hi i just went to walgreen and they told me they could take the printable coupons anymore? new rule? who know can anyone confirm this with corporate??i couldnt use the 5$ from the internet and the 5rr ..i dont know if thats the way its supose to be but doesnt that sound unfair since rr are a reward fro buying there and been a loyal costumer? and the 5$ printable from the web is just a promotion for everyone!..

I went to Walgreens last night and had no problems stacking Walgreens coupons with manufacturer coupons and getting my RR. I got RR for the cookies, bandaids, listerine, and bendadryl. The cashier was very friendly and helpful, although she wouldn’t take one of my printable coupons. She explained why and it was because when I printed it off part of the picture did not print because I was running out of ink and the store might think that it was copied.
I hope that Walgreens doesn’t change their policy on coupons.

my neighborhood walgreens no longer accepts internet coupons. I was told it was a new corporate policy, but I have been able to use them at other Walgreens. Who knows? I think it depends on who is working, personally.

I used several of the listerine coupons for 2 mouthwashes and my expected $3 register reward wouldn’t print. I used a $3 RR I had and the manager said that’s why I didn’t get one … a corporate change …??? So, I went to another Walgreens for the same deal and didn’t use a RR, but I still didn’t get my $3 RR. I was told this time that it was because I used several Listerine q’s (BOGO, the coloring book one, and the save $3/2 Listerine products. However, I did get a save $1/1 Listerine product with each transaction.

There is a Walgreens Coupon for $2 off any Theraflu Product in the Healthy Savings Coupon Book. This is similar to the Back to School Coupon Book. I found mine by the Register in Cosmetics at several stores. The Coupons do not expire until 12/31/09.

If you store let’s you Stack a Walgreens Coupon and a Manufacturer Coupon then you will have a $2 Money Maker after the Register Rewards!

The Breathe Right coupon excludes the 10 or 12 ct. strips so maybe you should remove the link so people don’t try to use it anyway.

My Walgreens just changed coupon policies (I think it is corporate and everywhere.) They will no longer let you stack walgreens and manufacture coupons!!!! Plus the will not accept multiple coupons on multiple items –like my six bags of poppycock yesterday. Wow it was so sad and frustrating. Apparently you can only buy one item at a time or the register will not take your coupons anymore. They refused to stack my walgreens band aid coupon with my band aid coupons. Luckily I said I would not be shopping there anymore when he wasn’t going to take my poppycock coupons and he took five of them manually (not six because I used 1 walgreens coupon–good thing that one took off $6!) So between not getting the band aid coupon and one poppycock coupon my deal was not so sweet. He said they are cracking down on coupon use because so many people are using them now! Anyway be CAREFULL with walgreens this week. They have new rules and all employees had to sign a paper saying they would follow the new rules including collecting all walgreens coupons or they will be fired. Anyway Walgreens is even less coupon friendly now, just a heads up.
