Here’s a bright bit of news to lighten my mood tonight: It seems Kmart has decided to change their minds and they will be doing another round of Super Doubles starting on 9/27. This is the email Amy from Coupon Clippin’ Mama received from Kmart:

This event is for select participating Kmart locations from 09-27-09 to 10-03-09. Please check with us on 09-21-09 for the listing of participating store in your local area.

How great is that? I have been lamenting to anyone who would listen about how much I was going to miss Kmart Super Doubles but it seems I won’t get to miss them for much longer. I am already looking forward to the deals. I will be emailing Kmart on Monday 9/21 to inquire more.

YEAH! I’m SO excited! I went the last day of the last round, and they had JUST posted the Kellogg’s cereal! I ended up with all of the free stuff PLUS an extra 4 boxes of cereal. I LOVE K-MART!

After reading your post I decided to go over to Kmart’s website to see if I could find out if this would be going in my area too. Well, I didn’t find out anything YET.. LOL! However, I DID register on their site and guess what???? The email they sent back had a $5 off $50 coupon for in store savings! I’m VERY NEW to the couponing thing, but am LOVING IT!! Finding coupons is like CHRISTMAS to me! Heehee =)

Maybe this time they will have some stores here in Washington participating. I have yet to be able to participate in one of these sales and there is a K-mart not 5 minutes from my house. *sigh*

This week 9/20-9/26 they are having a deal get 5$ wyb 25$ and 12$ wyb 50$ of over 400 items (great for diapers). any news if that will continue next week so I can double those 2$/1 huggies coupons?

The email I received today says limit of 5 coupons per day and only Procter & Gamble:
Thank you for contacting Sears Holdings Corporation regarding our Kmart double coupon event. This event runs from 9/27 through 10/3 for Proctor and Gamble coupons only. Participating stores only. The participating stores in Iowa are Davenport, Sioux City and Dubuque. The Moline and Rock Island stores are also participating.
Limit 5 coupons per customer per day. Additional coupons will be
redeemed at face value.
Once again, thank you for your interest in our Double Coupon Event. We appreciate your business and value you as a Sears Holdings customer. We certainly hope you will continue to make Sears Holdings your choice for quality and value.

Received further clarification from Kmart customer service that the $25 minimum purchase before coupons and limit of no more than 4 of the same coupon also applies.
While I love double coupons, the tighter restrictions on this event coupled with Kmart’s higher prices in our market means bargains will be scarce this round.

I just called and they told me my Florida store will be participating but that it is only good for Proctor & Gamble coupons and a max of 10 coupons per day. Any other manufacturer coupons will be redeemed at face value. That changes a lot of thinhs I had in mind!!
