The Best of CVS Deals 9/27-10/03

cvslogo1

It’s a decent week at CVS. I think the P&G promotion has a lot of potential especially because of the $5/$25 CVS coupon you can use to lower your out of pocket. If you are a Tide Detergent lover I have concocted a very good scenario to get a bottle for $1.25 each after coupon and ECBs. Thanks to the Thrifty Mama for her help putting these deals together.

Don’t understand any of the lingo I used? Please check my FAQ page for help.

    Hi Mercedes,

There’s no link for the Clean and Clear.

  2. Hey, I wanted you to know that I put up a ‘grand plan’ so to speak for CVS every week…and this week, I included one for Walgreens, since it is gonna be a fab week to Wags. So, anyway, you can pass that info along to your subscribers if you wish. I am at http://www.mycouponlady.com
    Thanks!
    Lessie

  3. Shannon says:

It is possible that for the cover girl deal they won’t give you the $9 item free… they will instead only take off $6 for the foundation because that is the lesser amount even though the coupon says you should get the other face product free

  4. Shannon,
I am worried about that CoverGirl thing too, but in the morning, when I hit my CVS, I will politely argue my point if they have a problem with honoring it for $9. Cuz, generally, if it is a BOGO coupon it will say of equal or lesser value IF that is what they will honor it for, but this one doesn’t say that. :-)

  5. Lisa says:

The printable Clean and Clear is not valid on trial sizes. Darn!!! Thanks for all of the work that you do, Mercedes! I appreciate it!

  6. DebbieQ says:

It may have just been me but when I took the CVS flu quiz and then tried to print out the coupon it would not do it in FireFox but it would print in IE.

  7. Anne Marie says:

If anyone has a mailer from P&G – the Home Made Simple booklet we can frequently request, there’s a $1 off coupon for Dawn Hand Renewal dish soap. This specific type of Dawn is typically not a part of the $1 sale at CVS, but this week it is! Free dish soap – and this will count toward the spend $25, get $10 ECB for P&G products.

  8. ammy says:

Does the following idea really work? I’m wondering if we could combine many coupons at the same time. I also have $5EBs in my pocket. Can I use it too?

Buy $25 worth of Proctor and Gamble Products, Get $10 ECBs (Limit 1)

    ***Deal Idea***
Buy 4 Tide Detergents (50 oz.) at $6 each
Buy 1 Dawn dishwashing soap at $1 each
Use $5/25 CVS coupon from Flu Quiz
Use 4 $1/1 Tide Detergent coupons from the 8/30 and 9/27 P&G insert
Use $0.25/1 Dawn coupon from the 8/30 and 9/27 P&G insert
Spend $15.75 plus tax out of pocket, Get $10 ECBs
$1.25 per bottle of Tide detergent after the coupons and ECBs

    • Mercedes says:

      Hi Ammy,

Yes, that scenario would work and you can also use the $5ECBs you have on hand to lower your out of pocket even more. You have one manufacturer coupon per item and the others are store coupons. No reason why you can’t use.

      Mercedes

  9. Catherine says:

Tide Detergent is only $4.00 on ad, not $6.00. You will need to buy 6 of the Tide and 1 Dawn to get to $25.00 It’s only $3.99 in the CVS I went, so I bought 2 Dawn and use 2 coupons for the Dawn.

  10. Mary says:

Not sure if this is a typo or not but the Fruitopa and Viologie shampoos are $1.99/$1.49 after the $2 coupons… neither are on sale this week for $1.99 (at least not in my stores – in two states).
