There are two freebies available when you become a facebook fan of the following brands:

UPDATE: Texas Pete Hot Sauce clearly doesn’t understand customer service and social media efforts as they have changed their offer from a FREE coupon to a buy one get one FREE coupon.  Don’t worry readers, you can get Frank’s Red Hot Sauce free after coupon very often.

TGI Friday’s will be offering a free burger if you Woody gets 1,000,000 Facebook Fans.  I am not exactly sure what Woody is too TGIFridays but it seems it is just a marketing campaign that’s working very well since he’s already beyond 700K fans.  Thanks The Thrifty Mama!

Enjoy!

I always wonder about these things, are they real? How do they send u the free stuff? Or is it some sort of marketing scam?

This is their “STATUS” as of last night…

ATTENTION! There are many websites reporting false information for free samples and coupons from us, and we want to help clear the confusion. Currently we are ONLY offering a buy one get one free coupon if our page reaches 100,000 fans by November 1…5th, 2009. As our fans you will be eligible to print the coupon from the coupon tab and redeem at your local store.

…and apparently some people are commenting that they don’t even get this in their region, so that might be something to check first. Otherwise, it’s a useless coupon.

Franks is better anyway. I hate when companies change their mind midway through a promotion. I doubt I will use petes again anytime soon.
