BOGO - BOGO coupons work at Kmart when the cost of the item is $2 or less. When the Q is scanned, the register asks the cashier to type in the price of the item. If it is $2 or less, the machine sees it just like a coupon for that amount and is therefore doubled. For example, the Ziploc bags currently cost $2 and there are BOGO coupons. I got 10 boxes of Ziplocks for free using 5 of the BOGO coupons & I got a $5 catalina since I got the holiday kind! Plus, this gave me $20 towards the SCJohnson catalina. I bought another $30 worth of SCJ stuff & got $12 back. Overall I spent $16.xx and got $17 in cats! I left with these items: 10 boxes of holiday ziplocs, 4 packages of ziploc twist-on bowls (2-3 in each pack), 4 glade plug-ins, 2 Pledge floor cleaners (my absolute favorite kind!), and 4 Kotex pantiliners. Awesome day at Kmart!

I went yesterday to our local Kmart and they doubled my internet coupons, p&g coupons and other coupons. I used about 14 (4 of them were for free items only...meaning the coupon said FREE on it) :) I had an internet coupon for $1.50 off Speed Stick so I got it for FREE! It's on sale 2/$4 and it doubled up to $2. Kids Crest Toothpaste is $2.29 and I had 3 $1 coupons making my toothpaste $0.29!!!!! Love it!!!

Here is my list:

Pantene Hairspray $3.95 - $1.00 coupon (doubled) = $1.95
Pantene Mousse $3.95 - $1.00 coupon (doubled) = $1.95
(These weren't the best deal, but this is the product I wanted)

Pringles $1.50 x 2 = $3.00 - $1.00 coupon (doubled) = $1.00
Special K $2.50 - $1.00 coupon (doubled) = $0.50
Febreeze $2.99 - $1.00 coupon (doubled) = $0.99
Febreeze $2.95 - $1.00 coupon (doubled) = $0.95
Kitty Treats $1.99 x 2 = $3.98 - 2 FREE coupons = FREE
Kitty Treats $1.89 - FREE coupon = FREE
Lady Speed Stick $2.00 (on sale) - $1.50 coupon (doubled) = FREE
Hershey's Kisses $2.50 - $1.00 coupon (doubled) = $0.50
Hershey's Kisses $2.50 - $1.00 coupon (doubled) = $0.50
Twix Candy Bar $0.89 - FREE coupon = FREE
Kids Crest Toothpaste $2.29 - $1.00 coupon (doubled) = $0.29

The best way to check to see if your kmart is doubling the coupons is to try one. I asked at the service desk Sunday afternoon and they didn't even know that the P&G ones were doubling. Today the cosmetic person didn't know it. In Torrance, Carson and Harbor City, California they are doubling all the coupons.

Hi Sarah,

Yes, cereal deals are actually pretty common. One brand or another but they usually come up on sale about every 8 weeks or so. They don't stop for the winter, so don't worry.

I'm still relatively new to couponing and am wondering, are deals on cereal are always so abundant? I'm certainly not complaining, but we have been getting cheap or free Kashi, Kellogg's and General Mills cereals at Target and Kroger for the last couple of months. Can I start being more selective on these deals or should I use them to stockpile more for a winter "lull" in these type of deals?

Has anyone tried using the BOGO coupon during this promo and get both items free? I've read on another blog that it worked, but when I used the BOGO on the mr clean magic erasers, it just took off for one and that was it. I must be missing something

[...] I mentioned in a previous post about a catalina promotion going on at Kmart tight now: “Spend $25, get a coupon for $5 off your next purchase. Or spend $50 and get a coupon for $12 off your next order.” The list of products for this one is very extensive but it includes products from Unilever (dove, Ragu, Hellmanns), Kimberly Clark (Huggies, Kleenex, Viva, Cottonelle) and SC Johnson (Pledge, Windex, Ziploc, Glade). At my store, the shelves were tagged under the items that qualified for this promotion.
The last time I contacted KMart, they said they did NOT accept internet coupons. Thus, printing a coupon for double money up to $2 would not work at KMart. Do you know if they have changed their policy? One great thing about Walgreens - they will accept internet coupons.
