SCJohnson Rebate: $5 Back When You Buy Three Products

This is something I have mentioned before, but SCJohnson is a company very generous with their product promotions. It is often we see high value coupons for products such as Windex, Scrubbing Bubbles and Glade that make them free at many stores. Also, we see a lot of free sample offers from their newsletter Right@Home. They just released their new offer and it doesn’t disappoint.

SCJohnson is offering a rebate for $5 back when you buy three products from the following brands: Ziploc, Glade, Windex, Scrubbing Bubbles, Pledge, Shout, Fantastik, Drano, Raid, Off, Saran and Nature’s Source. Limit 3 $5 rebates per household. Purchase period starts 10/1/09.

This offer is currently a moneymaker if you take advantage of the following offers:

  • Buy three Glade Candles using the FREE 2oz Glade Candle coupon from 8/9 SS insert (expires 10/3)

Ziploc Storage Bags 2/$4
Use $1.50/2 printable coupon
Pay $1 for two items after doubled coupon

Pledge Wipes 2/$5
Use $1/1 printable coupon
Pay $0.50 each after doubled coupon

Don’t have a Kmart doubling this week? Don’t worry, this rebate is good through 7/10 and I can promise you that there will be many more awesome deals to use it on. Thanks Jon!

Make sure to print this 3 times. Each household is allowed 3 $5 rebates (mail each separately).

Do you know when it started. I bought some of those glade candles at Walgreens when they were on sale and I am just wondering if you think those would qualify?

Thanks so much for this rebate. Last week I bought 3 Natures Source items at target – they had 1.00 off coupons on each bottle and I got several 1.00 off coupons in the newspapers making these 50 cents each and now I’ll get 5.00 back. Thanks also to your reader above who pointed out I can get 3 rebates total. I would never had read that fine print.

I just called the no on the form and they said the purchases must be made between Oct 1st 2009- Jun 2010. So none of the earlier dates purchases will work.

Thanks for sharing! And I saw the 3 per household…that’s really awesome! Since you pointed out that they do so many high value coupons and promos, I might write a letter thanking them for their generosity in their promotions.

hmm.. the rebate doesnt mention anything about a “start” date. Wondering if they are going to enforce oct 1st as the start or not. i would have never thought my purchases from today wouldnt count.

This is exciting because my local Piggly Wiggly has Ziploc bags on sale and then they have $1 off coupons at the customer service register. So, I can buy Ziploc bags for .49 cents each and get back $5!!! I’m headed to Piggly Wiggly!

They changed the form and now it has a start date of 10/1. Booo! I saw this yesterday, printed out the form with no start date, and bought stuff YESTERDAY! Grrrrr!!! They should’ve at least dated it to start when the put it up on their website.

BOGO doubling info:

For everyone that’s been asking about doubling bogo coupons, here is what I (finally) figured out. If the item costs less than $2 (or $2 even as in the case of the ziploc bags), it will double. It will be typed in as a coupon that fits the current doubling rule ($2 or less)!

Target has glade candles (HOLIDAY SCENT) $2.50 each. Buy 5 and get a $5.00 target gift card. I had $1.50 coupons for each candle. Here is the bonus-Albertson’s has the Smart Source coupon that says buy any glade candle and get the refill free. So essentially each candle cost $1.00. $1.00 x 5=$5.00, but you get a gift card from Target of $5.00, so all is free. You just pay the tax.

Oh yeah, send the rebate in for glade for another $5.00 back, then you are $5.00 up. Good luck everyone!

If you purchase two items and have a bogo coupon. Will this count as 1 item or 2 towards the rebate?

Usually it doesn’t matter what coupons you used as long as receipt shows you have 3 separate product that qualify then you qualify for rebate!
My receipts show i used MFG Coupons so it hard for them to tell if that coupon even for their item since i have other items on my receipt. There is also a number you can call on the rebate they are very helpful in answer questions!

I just called sc johnson and they said i could send all 3 of my rebate forms in one envelope since i have 6 items on one receipt and 3 items on another.
You get 3($5.00) rebates per household and i forgot to do separate receipts and she said that they are allowing items to be on same receipt!

HOPE this helps!
