Hi
Today I purchased the
5 Fiber One Boxes of Cereal 2.50 each ---> 12.50 and
2 Market Pantry Cheese Sticks .40 each--->   .80
                 TOTAL-------------------> 13.30 and
I used 5 $1/1 off GM Cereal Coupons -5.00 and
5-.75/1 Fiber One Cereal Coupons -3.75 and
1-1/2 Market Pantry Cheese -1.00
                                      Total 3.55
add the $5.00 gift card and I made $1.45
If that wasn't goood enough i went back a couple hrs later ( i was still in the mall) and remebered that I had more $1/1 Gm cereal coupons. So I picked up 5 Lucky Charms and 5 cinnamon toast crunch for $0. This transaction didnt go so smoothly, i predicted that they were going to give me a hard time so i went straight ti customer service i had her my 10 $1/1 GM cereal coupons first she tried to say i couldn't use them because the creal cups were on sale for .95, i explained to her that she had to adjut the value of the coupon she and her manager said they couldn't do that, i then took my copy of the target coupon policy and should it to them, they still didnt want to take it, so i asked that the call the number, they called and they must have told her that i was right, 5 or 6 minutes passed, she hung up and stared at the coupon and then her and her manager tried to tell me that it had to be on a box of cereal because that was what the picture was of. I told her that didn't make any sense and are they suppose to put a picture of every single product the coupon applies toward and the coupon, and i told her to call corporate again, another 5 or 6 mins later she rang up my transaction, without looking at me or apologizing for making me wait. She must of been mad that i was right. Though it was frustrating my total for day with sales before coupons was 23.80 after coupons i made a profit of $1.45!!! So this made me less mad.

Tried to use 5 General Mills Target Coupons $1 off each product, but the coupons were not accepted by register. Message on register read product not purchased. Cashier informed me that my Target would no longer over ride register any more. Just wanted to make you aware, if it happens to you.

Gotta post a brag on this one, from the tips posted for this article. Here's what today's recipt at my Target bought me for $.72 cents out of pocket!

Two healthy choice frozen pumpkin and squash ravioli meals.
Two healthy choice fresh mixers BBQ chicken and rice meals.
Five boxes of Fiber One cereal.
Two mini loaves of Archer Farms Artisan bread.
Eight sticks of market pantry string cheese.
One carton of fresh eggs (not part of the deals).

Minus manufacturer and target coupons...
Amount paid: $5.72
Target GC card issued from fiber one deal: $5.00

Total OOP: $.72 cents

When I got home and looked at the math, I noticed that our target had the individual string cheeses on sale at $.80 cents a piece. The clerk at the register didn't reduce down the value of the $1.00 off coupon for the market pantry cheese. Double check the cheese price in your own store and be aware they might adjust the value of the coupons to match. Ours didn't.

Charitti - I found the Hungry Hippos travel-sized game on end racks facing inside the aisle at both Targets in my area. They are usually located with or near the Hasbro travel-sized keychain games (Scrabble, Twister, Boggle, etc.)

As for the coupon, it states that the coupon can only be used on one item in a multi-game purchase. Basically, the coupon cannot be doubled or tripled if you buy more than one game listed on the coupon. You aren't required to buy multiple games in order to use the coupon on just one item.

Hi Sheila,

I am sorry to hear that. I have never had a problem using multiple target coupons at *our* Target. It must be luck of the draw. Just Sunday I used 5 chef michaels printables and also 2 bounce bars target coupons.

Jennifer, I also had a problem at the Sheboygan, WI Target not taking more than 1 of the same Target coupon. I tried to use 4 of the Kelloggs coupons with the Special K bars to get the gift card. They would only accept one coupon per purchase and said they are cracking down on the coupons.

Does anyone else have problems using more than one target coupon at a time? I tried to use 4 of the general mills cereal coupons on Saturday and 5 of the Edy's ice cream coupons and my store would only accept one of each. They told me it was one per transaction and that is all they would take. I have never had this problem before. I live north of Indianapolis, IN. Are there other stores in Indy that don't adhere to the one per transaction rule. I need to find another store to shop at.

There's a 5$ Hasbro target coupon that could be used instead of the 4$, you could also stack them if you want too! =D

I used those game coupons a couple of weeks ago. They worked without problem. The description states that they are good on multiple game purchases, so you have to buy more then one to get the deal. I bought four for four bucks.

There are some great deals at Target; unfortunately, I have been experiencing problems with my local Target accepting coupons that go over and some of their own store coupons that don't seem to scan. Is anybody else having problems?

I called corporate. They sent me a letter with their coupon guidelines, told me that I was doing everything correctly and that my local store manager was in error, and sent my a couple of additional sore savings coupons.

I went back to shop with my letter from corporate. I had the same problems. The manager refused to accept my coupons even with my letter. I called corporate from the store. Again, I was told that I was doing everything right; however, the store manager did not know how to handle my coupons. Even with the corporate directive, my Target coupons were not accepted.

Hi PAm,

It would depend on the cashier you get. Some cashiers will understand that doing multiple transactions to use the coupons (which you are entitled to do btw) is a burden on them and the customer.

Will Target accept 5 of their General Mills coupons in one transaction? I think it indicates only one of a particular coupon per transaction.

If you read the Hungry Hippos coupon it says that it is for a "multi-pack" game purchase, not for a single game, therefore you can't use it for the travel version.

I looked for the Hungry Hippos game, but I could only find the full-size version. Does anyone know where I would find the travel size game for $4.99? Thanks.
