Hi! I am Mercedes and this is my blog Common Sense with Money! Helping other people live better, spend less, and save more is something I am very passionate about. I combine simple frugal living tips and smart shopping techniques to help moms across the U.S. become better home economists. Thank you for visiting my blog.

I live in upstate NY and all of our summer “stuff” is 90% off starting tomorrow! There are a lot of toys included that would be great stocking stuffers for under 1.00 I was lucky that when I shopped today they had the signs up and I got a 129.99 patio set for $13.00!
OMG! Mary, what a steal! Great job!

Will they let you use 2 coupons with the b1g1 razor I have had stores not let me do this?Anyone done this deal.
What do you think constitutes a “face product” for the “Buy one Cover Girl foundation, get one Cover Girl face product free” coupon? Can I get blush or eye shadow do you think? And if it is more than the foundation, do I still get it free? It says nowhere on the coupon anything about “of equal or lesser value.” Now, if I bought 2 foundations, I’m sure they’d give me the cheaper one free, but if I get something other than foundation (if I can), then they’d have to give me that free, no matter what the cost, right?
Lisa, I did the bogo razor with 2 $4 coupons…a little over $2.50 for a Schick quattro handle/trimmer and a 4 pack replacement cartridges (normally would have been over $22)!
I just returned from CVS in San Antonio–summer clearance is 90% off. I purchased 8 bags of MatchLight Charcoal for 6.00! Also summer toys–bubbles, swim toys, kites, etc are all less than 1.00!
I missed out on the beach towel clearance–90% off started here yesterday.
