The Best of Walgreens Deals 9/13-9/19

wag-logo1The register rewards deals just keep on coming at Walgreens. There are a few good register rewards deals and what’s better than free nut snacks? A couple of Walgreens coupon booklets also help make a few of these deals moneymakers.

Don’t understand any of the lingo I used? Please check my FAQ page for help.

I may be the only person crazy enough to save a randon coupon for so long (but I doubt it!!), but there is a $1 off True North snack coupon in the 2/9 or 2/8 (don’t remember now) SS insert.
There is also a Listerine Antiseptic $0.50 off coupon on the same link as the Neosporin printable. Not sure if that is the correct product, as I have not seen the ad myself.

    Thanks for the GREAT LIST!!!!

  2. kmallaney says:

I’m crazy enough too Jenna. LOL

  3. Kara says:

I only saw a $1.50 coupon for the Triaminic…still a fantastic deal though!

  4. Mary says:

I found try me free peelies for the True North nuts at my local grocery store.

  5. Leslie says:

I may not be understanding the band-aid deal right, but it doesn’t seem to be coming out to free by my calculations.

  6. Julie says:

The Kashi deal would =1.50 each with the $1.00 IP coupons. They would be $1.00 if you have the $1.50 vocalpoint coupons.

  7. Kirsten says:

There are no more prints available for the triaminic. Darn ;)

  8. Jaime Gerhart says:

For some reason I had trouble with the Triaminic today. I had mfr., in store, and RR coupons for my whole order, and of course, made sure that my # of coupons equalled the number of products. No matter what they did, the $2 in store Triaminic worked (2 items for $4 off), and one of the $1.50 Triaminic mfr. worked, but the register wouldn’t even allow the manager to input the second one in manually. Oh, well, I still got 2 Hefty one zip bags, 2 Keebler cookies, 2 Neosporin, 1 Advil PM, 2 Triaminic, and 6 items of candy (fillers) for about $5.50, and still got $10 RR. I wish the other coupon would have worked, though!

  9. Mercedes says:

    Jaime,

Did you happen to buy any Triaminic strips? Now that I recall for some of the products (and I am sure the strips is one of them) the bar code in the coupon doesn’t match the bar code in the product and that’s why the coupon beeps.

    Let me know,

    Mercedes

  10. Dawn says:

The Schick Quattro razor refills are also a good deal this week. They are BOGO so it looks like this:

    10.99 x 2 Quattro refills
    -10.99 for BOGO
    -4.00 manufacturer coupon
    -4.00 manufacturer coupon

so 2 packs of refills for about 3.50

  11. Nicole says:

Does anyone have the scoop on the ALlI diet pill wags coupon? I know I have a couple $15 MQ & didn’t know if you could stack these together to get $30 off total of it. I don’t usually shop wags so didn’t know! Thanks!

  12. Lisa Fischer says:

grr the Listerine didn’t work for me. I didn’t go back either, didn’t have time. I’ve gotten overage before & used a $2 mfg coupon so paying .99 instead of getting it w/ overage was ok…this time! LOL

Also, did I buy the wrong Trident? What is Trident layers gum? I just bought 2 packs of Trident, they rang up at 1.29/each,not 1.00 & no RR…I did use the 1/2 but still I don’t EVER pay for gum so paying 1.60 for 2 packs bit.

    • Mercedes says:

      Lisa,

The trident layers gum look like this. At my store these were on a separate display by the register. They where very well tagged since it’s a new product.

      Mercedes

PS. I don’t pay for gum either so maybe you can return?

  13. Lisa Fischer says:

Thanks Mercedes. I’ll just keep my gum since I get so much other stuff for free! I’ll print another coupon if I can & look for this.

  14. Jean Crowe says:

I just got home from Walgreens, here’s what I got.

One bottle triaminic @$3.49 – on clearance
One bottle triaminic @ $5.00 on sale, regular $6.99
    2 Walgreens children’s Activity Book w/ coupons @ .99 ea = $1.98
(found near pharmancy) (I will use the Neosporin coupon this week for a $4 savings)
    5 candy bars reduced @ .22 = $1.10
    1 OSU light Jacket @ $10
    Subtotal $21.57 + $1.38 tax = $22.95

    Here’s the coupons:
    1 Walgreens store coupon on Triaminic @ $2 ea x2 = – $4
(found in Walgreens Healthy Savings Coupon Booklet)
    2 Triaminic coupons @ $1.50 printable mfg coupon = – $3
( found on Common Sense with Money)
    5 Register Rewards – 6, -2, -3, -2, -1, = – $14

    Total coupons 8 = – $21
    Paid out of pocket .57 + $1.38 tax = $1.95

  15. Kara says:

The Neosporin link is dead now. (no more prints for this campaign)

  16. TammynSC says:

Walgreen’s on Hwy. 24 in Anderson, SC has the Tylenol Children’s Cold and Allergy liquid on sale for $1.99 ea. My daughter bought 2 and got back $5RR. $1MM. :) It would have been an even sweeter deal if she’d checked my coupon stash ’cause I also had coupons for it.

  17. Katy says:

Okay, so I’m new to the Walgreens savings. What is RR…is it a coupon printed at checkout? Do you need a “card” to get these savings like at CVS? Thanks so much!

  18. Lisa says:

Anybody having problems with the BOGO razor and blade deal I went and did it once and went back a few days later and was told I could not use 2 Q with a BOGO .
