I usually don’t like to share clearance deals with you because they depend so much on each Walgreens store.  However, this month there are TONS of clearance finds to be had that I feel confident you will be able to find at least one of them.  Let’s start with the moneymaker for this week:

  • Roots of Nature Shea Butter Green Tea Reconstructing Deep Treatment (UPC #75285003626) is ringing up $1.74 and printing the $6RR. Use the $1/1 printable coupon to make it a $5.26 moneymaker.
  • All 3X Laundry Detergent (32 load bottles) $1.78. Use $1/1 coupon from 8/2 RP insert to pay only $0.78 per bottle.
  • Tide Simple Pleasure Vanilla and Lavender (25 loads) $2.29. Use $1/1 from 8/16 RP insert to pay $1.29 per bottle.
  • Snuggle Exhilarations Wild Orchid and Vanilla (32 load) $1.39
  • 7th generation free and clear detergent $2.19 (Use $2/2 coupon from 9/20 inserts) to pay $1.19 each.
  • Scotch Brite Nailsaver Sponges $0.62. Use $1/2 coupon from 9/20 inserts to pay 12 cents each.
  • Febreze candles $1.79. Use $2/1 coupon from 8/30 RP insert to get it FREE.
  • Ghirardelli Chocolate bars $0.65 each. Use $1/2 from September Coupon booklet to pay $0,15 each.
  • Pedialyte $1.59. Use $1/1 coupon from Healthy Savings Booklet and pay 59 cents each.
  • Reese’s Chocolate bars as low as $0.22 each (Buy two, use $0.55/1 coupon from 8/23 insert and get a FREE Coke Zero plus Free chocolate.)

Carrie from Pocket Your Dollars share these other ones with me:

  • Metamucil 30-ct $2.59. Use $3/1 coupon from 8/30 insert to get it FREE.
  • EPT Pregnancy Tests 2-ct $3.29. Use $4/1 from 1/4/09 RP, 6/28 SSS or 8/23 RP inserts to get it FREE.
  • Mentos Gum $0.42. Use $0.55/1 coupon from 6/21 SS, 8/16 SS or 9/13 SS to get them FREE

I think that’s a pretty good round up. The point is, right now may be a good time to stroll the aisles at your local store with your coupons ready in search for some of these treasures.
Happy Savings!

I just got back from Wags. The EPT peg. tests were on clearance, but not for $3.29 as mentioned in this post. The were tagged with an orange sticker under them for $10.49. I had them do a price check on it also and it said $10.49. No go for me. Hope they will clearance them more.

Also the Roots of Nature Shea Butter Green Tea Reconstructing Deep Treatment (UPC #75285003626) is ringing up $6.00 at my store not $1.74 as mentioned.

My Walgreens had the ept test on clearance for $3.29, but they were gone already. Also, they had Mr. Clean Magic Erasers (2pk) on clearance for .50, which would be great with the .75 coupon from the Home Made Simple booklet, but my store was already out as well. They did not have the laundry detergents. I was able to pick up the ghirardelli chocolate bars though!

Our WAGS had the EPT 1 count on clearance for $3.58, but the $4 coupon went through with no beeps! I was lucky enough to get several of these great finds. Thanks Mercedes for posting them!

Allyou.com has coupon links for $1/2 for the Ghiradelli Chocolate Bars. Go to Allyou.com – click on Coupons & Deals – then click on Coupons. I ended up having overage of $.72 on 4. They were $.57 at our Walgreens in Northwest Arkansas. I used 1 AllYou Exclusive Coupon + 1 September Coupon (took off $2) = for an overage. Use manufacturers coupon first!!!!

I found the Walgreens kid toothbrush 6 pks. that were $2 on clearance for $1.09. Pretty good deal without needing any coupons. A GREAT thing to put in Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes if you do those. I bought 6 : ). I have 4 kids and I figure that will get me through a whole year!!

Your post makes me want to go back to Walgreens right now : ).

Thanks!!

I only found the Mentos gum at my Walgreens on last chance for .44. Does anyone know if I should do price checks on all the items or just go buy the tagged price????

Took me 3 Walgreens, but I finally found just about everything at the 3rd. I think it was because the deals weren’t marked as clearance there, but they rang up that way! I also found smaller bottles of Shout Advanced for $1.12 and used a 55 cent Q. Plus, the 64 load size of the W laundry detergent was on clearance at all three for just $2.19!!!

I went to two different Wags this morning, the first had nothing. The second had two bottles lavender vanilla tide, but it was marked 8.99. I asked the cashier about price checking and they told me to look at the tag!! so i didn’t get it….is clearance at Wags regional?

My Walgreens won’t accept coupons for clearance items if the coupon is more than the sale price. Does anyone have the official coupon policy? I’d love to take advantage of these deals.

My Walgreens will take the coupons for clearance items, but the register usually beeps. Today on the mentos gum, I bought 5 packs but she’d only let me use three $.55 coupons…I’m still not too sure about that one! I found quite a few of the items and also some Arizona Green Tea that was marked down to $.40 a bottle (bigger than single serve, but not as big as the gallon jugs). They also had some of the Scrubbing Bubbles toilet gels on clearance for like $1.02, but they were already out. It was a good trip, though!

No metamucil, EPT, or roots were on clearance here in PA. However, I did snag 5 bottles of Tide Vanilla & Lavender at $2.29 each ( I had 3 $1 coupons also!) and 2 bottles Snuggle at $1.39 each. (It took 3 stores, but I’m happy). Thanks for posting these, since the last store had Tide $6.59 and the Snuggle $3.29, the cashier did a price check, and the LOW price came up!

I was able to get the frebreze candles and the scotch bright, but mine was out of everything else. I had fun looking also. Like I was on a treasure hunt :) I saw the Arizonia tea but at the time didn’t think about the Walgreens coupons, I’ll have to go back tomorrow to see if they are still there.

Thanks for posting this. I was very excited to find a bottle of the 7th Generation soap since we need to use free soap for my little guy! I also still found packages of the photo stamps on clearance for $7.19 at my store and Walgreens contact solution was on clearance for 82 cents.

I found the Fabreeze candles on clearance but the cashier REFUSED to take the $2 coupon since it exceeded the value of the item. I didn’t have time to debate the issue since I was running late to pick up the kiddos from daycare so I asked the cashier to void the candles on that transaction. (I guess I don’t understand, Walgreens would get reimbursed for the $2 right?!?! I had other items to purchase so it wasn’t like I was asking for money returned to me)

Bri, the Roots of Nature product is in the hair care aisle with the ethnic hair products (usually at the very end of the aisle). Scored again today! Went to a Wags I don’t normally shop at (my car was in the garage, and the Wags was next door). Found Tootsie Roll pops (7 pack) for $0.32 each, and was just looking around. Couldn’t find any of the other deals, but needed toilet paper, so picked up a Charmin Basic marked at $3.49. Imagine my surprise when I found it rang up at $1.09 ( a 9 pack)! Cashier let me go get more, so I took the other 3 packs (of course, another customer says “What did you do, take them all?”). Picked my car up, went to a Wags 3 miles away where they had 10 more packs. I admit, I did take all of them (hey, with a husband and 2 teenagers, this stuff disappears quite quickly), when a nice old lady asked if there were any more. I gladly gave her 2 packs (that was all she wanted), and we ran into each other for 15 minutes, where I pointed out the other clearance deals….last bottle of Snuggle at $1.39, and store brand oreos and fig newtons (the single box size) for $0.25 each, and wafer cookies at $0.60. Went to the last Wags by my house for the 1 pack of Charmin left and Gain ($2.29 less $1.00 coupon). At least we are set for a while!
