The Conagra Foundation is helping fight child hunger. Become a Conagra Foods Foundation Fan on Facebook and they will donate $10 for each new fan, up to $100,000. Not sure how far $10 will go in Feeding America’s hands? I received an email from Feeding America this morning stating that “Every $1 you give provides $15 worth of food and groceries for hungry families – that’s enough for 7 meals!”

As a recipient of a Con Agra sponsored food box from Feed America earlier this summer, I can confidently say this organization is doing a wonderful job. My husband was out of work for several months this year, and the food box came at an especially difficult time for us. I encourage everyone to join, and if possible donate a few dollars yourself. Now that we are employed again, I am making more of an effort to donate to food pantries.
