I did the dove deal 10/27 and no RR printed. My local cashiers don’t have a clue regard RRs. Where are the monthly rewards listed so that I can keep a list for my store when this happens?

Hi Mercedes,

I’ve seen here and elsewhere the Crest, Vaseline lotion, and Quaker RR deals, but my store doesn’t seem to have these advertised at all. The shelf prices for the toothpaste and the lotion are higher than the word-of-mouth sale prices, i.e., they’re not shelf-listed on sale, and these aren’t in my weekly ad.

Do you know where I can verify these? I did the Quaker oats today, since it was a good deal with the in-ad and mfr. coupons. I got an RR, but wasn’t sure I would.

The Vaseline lotion is marked at $7.99, and the Crest toothpaste (the deal I’m seeing is buy two at $2 each, get a $2 RR, and I have 2 $1/1 mfr. coupons), is $2.79, I think.

Can you help?

The Conair Hairdryer is 14.99 at Target which would make it a better deal after the $5 coupon.

There aren’t eight on these coupons in one insert. but if you are interested in this deal you can reach out to a coupon clipping service like the coupon clippers or Ebay and get them there.

Are there 8 EIGHT of these $1.50 coupons in a single RedPlum????
Or do you use just one and it takes $1.50 off all 8 of them for 8 x 1.50 = $12 off???

That’s why I questioned her at first…I really study these coupon rules! I won’t expect that to happen in the future. Thought I stumbled on to something great there. Thanks for letting me (& everyone else) know. Sorry for getting anyone’s hopes up.

That was definitely a fluke. A better trained cashier would know to only apply one manufacturer coupon per item.

Double MFG Coupons at WAGS! Saturday I did the Zantac $5 coupon at Walgreens. On the package was a $3 off peelie. The cashier used it AND my $5 internet Q for a total of $8 off! I questioned her at first, saying I’d rather use the $5 Q instead of the $3 Q but she said it would take them both – and it did! Plus I got my $9RR…all with no beeping!
I thought this experience could help someone with the Dulcolax Balance on sale this week. I read somewhere that there may be a peelie on the box.

Sunflowerfla- RRs are considered manufacturer coupons so you need to make sure that any coupons from the paper or online + RRs don’t add up to more then the number of items you have. So if you have a manufacturers coupon for everything you’re buying (like is often the case with good Walgreens deals) you need to add a “filler”- like a .20 pencil, piece of candy, whatever to be able to also use an RR to help pay for your purchase. The Walgreens in-ad coupons DON’T count towards your total coupons/RRs allowed. However, my cashiers at Walgreens have a tendency to tell me all sorts of incorrect, crazy things about their coupon policy- like I can’t get an RR to print out if I use a coupon, etc. Thank goodness I know how the register works better then they usually do and always say, “Let’s try it and see what happens.” The register will beep and let you know if you try to use more RRs then you are allowed to. If things don’t work out how I plan them to and know they are suppose to I could always return the item or not buy it- thankfully I’ve always been right and that’s never been a problem! Good luck!

Great site!! I noticed your comment about the MQ versus the WGQ. I have a lot of trouble cashing in my RRs with MQ because the cashier says that the coupon counts are more than the items purchased. Do you have anything in writing that you can share that says that Walgreens should only count the manufacturer coupons? Thanks!

I have one question. When I count up my total coupons before checkout, I usually count in the wags coupons also. I recently read somewhere that you don’t need to add those into the count. Is that correct? I’m scared to try it for fear of messing up and feeling very weird at checkout.

Softsoaps are on sale buy the Softsoap Ensembles pump and base get a 4.00 RR. There is a buy the pump get the base for free coupon in this Sundays SmartSource and I have seen a large stack of 2.00 off coupons at my Walgreens. The pumps are 5.99 and the base would be free w/coupon so all you would pay (if you can find the 2.00 coupon @ wags) would be 2.99 and get 4.00 RR. Sorry for the long post I just love these and thought it was a good deal.
