So I went to Wags yesterday and did the diaper deal. I used the $5 off coupon before my other coupons and the cashier scanned it and it went thru without any beeps. Then I used all my other coupons. So, it can be done, it just depends on the cashier that you have.

I did this Diaper Deal yesterday and The Walgreens Activity Booklet wouldn’t take off the $1 for each package I bought. The coupon in booklet states on “regular priced” items…still a good deal though! Thanks for the heads up!!

Just so you know, the 5 off of 25 coupon clearly states on it that it is only to be used after all coupons. This even includes register rewards. So unless you pay 25 dollars out of pocket it will not work. I just tryed to do it and the manager brought that fine print to my attention.

Kara/Marilou- you don’t have to worry about the number of coupons vs. items unless you are paying w/ register rewards, and you can’t pay w/ RR in this case anyway, b/c RR are considered a coupon- not a method of payment. The reason for the paper gift bag is to get you above $25 b/c the $5/$25 Wag’s coupon says “must reach purchase amt of $25 before taxes and after all mfr and wag’s coupons and discounts”. That’s why in her scenario Mercedes didn’t use 4 of the $2 off Q’s, but you could- you’d just have to buy more filler stuff to get to $25 after coupons. Confusing, I know. Wag’s is the worst for being confusing. HTH

Katie- there was a small wraparound ad that went around this weeks circular, they have them in the store if you can’t find yours. I bought more coloring books at my Wags a few weeks ago, they had them either in the pharamacy or the children’s book section of the store. They are the first page in the book.

I just got back from Wags and combined some of the baking deals with the diapers.
I got 4 packs of diapers/ pullups (used 4 2.00 q & $1 Wags coloring book)
4 jellos (used 2 .50/2Q)
2 5 lb flours (used 2 .50q)
2 evap milk (with q)
1 cond milk (with q)
2 BCrocker frosting (50 cent q)
1 bag choc chips (with q)
plus the circular coupons and $5/$25
my total spent was 31.40 and I saved 35.56. Too bad none were RR reward but the cashier was impressed by the good deals I got.

It’s still available in my area. Try typing in zip code 60455 and see if its there. You can also find them in the recent coupon booklets in the Sunday paper, if you buy it.

The paper sack is just a cheap way to add another item so you have 5 items with 5 coupons. You cant use more coupons than u have items at Wags.

Ok so I think I have another option for you…. Tell me if I’m wrong.

4 pks of diapers $35.96
1 $.12 paper gift sack
= $36.08

$5/25 circular coupon (use this first so ur total is over 25)

$1/1 coupon from wags coloring book ($4)
4 $2/1 coupon huggies.
= $19.08 ($4.77 per pack instead of $5.02 above)

Is this correct?

Madhu- You use RR like cash to pay for items but they go towards your coupon count. You can’t have more coupons then items. If you have quite a few register rewards to use just buy more of the 12 cent gift bags so that you can use them all.

The $1 off ocean spray coupon on the front of the cranberry juice isnt for the juice. its for 12 oz frech cranberries a few other things but not the juice.

Pretty sure the oceanspray yellow peelie found on the juice is not intended to be used on the juice. They are intended to be used on craising, trail mix or ocean spray fresh cranberries.

The wording on the coupon is as follows:
