WI & IL Readers: Cheap Chex Cereal and FREE Nabisco CRacker at Piggly Wiggly

by Mercedes on November 20, 2009

pigglywigglyIf you are looking to get the ingredients for some cheap puppy chow and crackers for entertaining for cheap, this week Piggly Wiggly is the place to hit:

Chex Cereal $0.99/box (must buy 3, limit 3)
Use $1 off two boxes printable coupon
Pay $2 for three boxes (might as well print two coupons and do two separate transactions and keep three boxes for Christmas time).

Also, there’s a pretty good deal going on on Nabisco Crackers:  Buy $20 in Kraft products and get $5 instant discount at check out.  Triscuit and Wheat Thins are on sale for $2 each and Ritz Crackers are on sale 2.50 each.

$20 when you buy ten boxes of mix/match Triscuits or Wheat Thins
-$5 when you use five $1/2 printable coupons here and here (click on Coupons Tab)
-$5 instant discount at check out
= Pay $10 out of pocket and then submit for Kraft Rebate: Get $10 back when you buy ten boxes Nabisco Crackers

That’s like getting the ten boxes of crackers free after promotion, coupons and rebate. If you’d rather buy some Ritz Crackers, remember there was a $1/1 coupon in the 11/8 inserts and there’s a $1/1 printable available here.

Thanks Jenny and Val!

Click “get started” in the middle of the page, and then the coupon link is over on the right side of the page.

Merecedes,

Thanks for all of your helpful saving tips on your website. They are awesome! Next week’s Sentry ad has a $2.00 off coupon for 4-12 packs of Pepsi products. It is a manufacturer’s coupons, so it could be used at Piggly Wiggly to get 4-12 packs for $6.99.

God bless,
Heather

How long do both of these deals last? I have purchased the cereal and would love to purchase more. There was also a coupon for the cereal in the GM insert last week (or the week before)? Do any local food pantries take cereal? I would be happy to donate but I know most would rather take in canned goods.
Thanks for all you do Mercedes!

Hi Kristin,

The sales ad for my local Piggly Wiggly ends on Tuesday. And the new ad begins on Wednesday. The food pantry would LOVE your cereal! I have taken tons of cereal before. ANY food that’s not perishable is welcomes. You may also want to check with Salvation Army as well.

thanks again mercedes! i have a question though. first, when i printed the nabisco cracker coupons they don’t have a $ off on it anywhere on the coupon. it just shows pics of the crackers, says products 5 oz to 16 oz and then the fine print and barcodes…will my store still take them as long as they ring up correctly even if it doesn’t say a specific $ off on the coupon?
