WooHoo! I’m so excited to see another one of these coupons. I used a few $5/5 that I found in magazines and the transactions went smoothly. Each time I bought six $0.99 cards, as the machine beeped and wouldn’t accept my coupon until the total was over $5. I made a list of all the people whose birthdays I had to purchase cards for and bought a card for each of them. Thank you for highlighting these great deals! :)

Caitlin-
Can I ask what magazines you found those coupons in? I have a HUGE pile of mags I still have not had time to look through.
Thank you!

Their wrapping paper is b1 @ 4.99 get1 for .99

So 5.98 – 5q = .98(for 2 rolls) or .49/roll

That’s better than getting up at the butt crack of dawn the day after Christmas for wrapping paper clearance! lol!

They only let me get 1 roll because they said I couldn’t do the promotion and the coupon. It was a bummer but we got the wrapping paper and some gun (to hit $5) and it was like $0.30.

Amanda, is there another Hallmark in your area? My husband and I both did the gift wrap deal with no problems. In fact, the cashier was intrigued that we were able to get two rolls of wrap for $1. I would try a different one. I know most of them are independently owned and maybe you will have better luck somewhere else.

LOL. I don’t do dawn…butt crack or otherwise! Thanks for the heads up on this!

What is the “rewards card” it says to scan in the fine print? Anyone have any trouble not having one of those? I rarely shop at Hallmarks…don’t know how they stay in business around here, with our unemployment at 15% and businesses closing everywhere (I’m in Michigan…)

I got 1/2 off a box of Christmas cards – not a fantastic deal except that I loved the cards they were the neatest. Even the lady checking me out said they were so sweet.

I did 2 transactions. First I bought the 2 rolls of wrapping paper. Then I bought 4 – $.99 gift bags and 1 – $1.49 gift bag…. total was less than $.60. I’ll probably grab a little clip-on Webkinz if I go again.

Thanks for the info about the printable!

Not surprised that Hallmark has been offering so many deals lately. I had read an article a few months back about how the popularity of Hallmark Ornament collecting is declining. Can’t say if that is really true or not as I don’t know.

I purchase ornaments – they were $5.99, and after coupon and tax around $1.50. I think they will make great teacher gifts this year.

I was able to use my coupon on the BIGIF Webkinz. My total for two of the newer regular size Webkinz was $10!!

I bought a little snowman holding a light-up sparkly snow globe. It was $4.99, so I added an Andes mint to the order and my total was about 13 cents. Great coupon, thanks!

I have used 3 of these from magazines. I actually blogged about my deals too!

Do you have to have a Hallmark Gold Card in order to use the coupon?

No, Kristan. I went, yesterday and purchased the gift wrap deal and then, my husband did the same deal. We didn’t need anything, but the tax!

I had four of those coupons – in seperate transactions I purchased the following items. 1st and 2nd trans – 2 Small Christmas Beanie Babies ($3.50) plus 6 carmels ($.50 ea). Split those into 2 orders. Came to $.32 for each trans. 3rd trans – Gillham & Grand Assorted Premium Chocolates x 2 ($3.00 ea). Came to $1.51 total. 4th order – 3 thank you cards ($.99 ea) and one Gillham & Grand Christmas Toffee Tin ($7.95 with 3 card purch). Came to $6.94 total. Beanies are for my kids stockings, assorted chocolates are for bus drivers, toffee is for my MIL with some other stuff and carmels were for my treat. :-) LOVE shopping for close to free.

I wanted to get some really nice Christian Christmas Cards but their weren’t any that really expressed the true meaning of Christmas…the birth of Christ. They were so Happy Holidays like ;-/.

I’m going to wait for some other good ideas from you guys before using these Q’s. Or go back for the visor clip for a little gift.

My Hallmark store told me the printable Hallmark coupon was a fake and would not take it. Very embarrassing!

Reply

25 KMS December 7, 2009 at 7:32 PM

I HIGHLY doubt this is a fake as it is a Bricks coupon. I would try a different Hallmark if you can.

It’s from the Hallmark website, it can’t be fake!

I can’t get this to print – I turned off my antivirus, and I have the coupon printing softward downloaded, but it doesn’t go to the next step and take me to the coupon. And, I had the Oprah mag with the coupon, but I already gave it to my neighbor.
