I have never heard of that and that doesn't make sense for Walmart to do that because the coupon doesn't hurt them in the least. They actually make a few extra cents by processing the coupon and all those few extra cents add up to money for them. I would try another cashier if you felt like trying again because the price match and the coupon are two very different things. Wow! And they always have Kmarts there. But my Walmart also posts the local grocery stores ads on a bulliton board for people to see and use for comp. pricing, while I know my in-laws store does not. Hopefully your store is accustomed to comparison pricing like mine is and maybe they will already have the circular.
