Recycle Bank: Two Free $5 Huggies Diaper Coupons and More Free Items

Here’s a very interesting offer to reward you for your green efforts.  Recycle Bank is a program where you can earn points by recycling items curbside or by recycling electronics or other reusable items in your community.

Curbside Recycling

In the curbside program, your Recycle Bank cart will be weighed each week upon pick-up. The weight will then be translated to RecycleBank Points. The more you recycle, the more your household can earn. Unfortunately curbside recycling is only open to certain states: Colorado, Connecticut, Kansas, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Tennesse and Virginia.

Recycling Electronics

Anyone can recycle their old cellphones, laptops and MP3 players with Gazelle and Flipswap.  Just mail your old electronics and get Recycle Bank points as a reward.

Recycling Reusable Items in Your Community

If you are familiar with Freecycle, you will enjoy getting points for giving away items you no longer need but could be of use to someone else via Recycle Bank and Kashless.  Just post your items and get rewarded for doing so.  All you need to find is the Kashless community nearest you.

Get Rewards With Your Points

Sign up for Recycle Bank (and anyone can sign up) and you will be instantly rewarded 100 points just by doing so.  You can redeem these 100 points for some of the following rewards:

  • A coupon for $5 off Huggies diapers will cost you 50 points (so order two!)
  • A coupon for free Happy Baby Food will cost you 50 points too and there are a lot of choices.
  • A free Cleanwell product will cost you 100 points
  • A coupon for $2 off Cascadian Farms products will cost you 20 points and
  • A coupon for $1 off coke product will cost you 10 points

Plus there are lots more high value grocery coupons available as rewards.  I highly encourage you to sign up for Recycle Bank and start accumulating points.  I will also keep updating you on any promotional codes that become available that can get you free points.

Thanks Surviving the Stores!

Thanks! I just redeemed the diaper coupons!

5 Kara December 19, 2009 at 3:06 PM

I don’t see the $5 Huggies diaper coupon…I only see Huggies wipes B1G1 or B1G1 Diapers (300 pts) — perhaps I’m not looking in the right area?

6 EmmaK December 19, 2009 at 10:54 PM

There were three different coupons that came up when I looked there was the huggies wipes and diapers. Hopefully they didn’t take the coupon off.

7 Chriscia December 19, 2009 at 3:32 PM

I couldnt find the diaper coupon either :( I REALLY need diapers and that would have been great.

8 Heather R December 19, 2009 at 4:06 PM

I couldn’t find the diaper coupon as well. Only had one for BOGO for wipes and a 300 credit one for BOGO diapers. Is it in a special area that I didn’t check?

love this!! just got 10 free two liters of coke. excellent!!

10 Christina December 19, 2009 at 4:41 PM

I guess the Huggies $5 coupon is gone, I didn’t see it either and the wipes one is pretty weak.

If you guys are not in a hurry I would suggest hanging on to your points. It is possible that the Huggies coupons are gone for this month but they become available again next month. That’s only afew days away.

So, if I’m understanding it right, we will get an activation code in the mail if our neighborhood is participating in this program? I would like to participate in the curbside program, but don’t have an activation code. I guess I’ll wait to see if they send it to me.

13 tracy December 19, 2009 at 6:17 PM

you don’t have to wait for an activation code. just register and then log in … that’s the trick … you just created your site name and password – use em! then go to “my account” header and it should show that you have 100 credits… then go to “get rewards” and i selected “food & groceries” and it listed out the offers

hope that helps – i placed my order right after i registered.

Is there a monthly fee involved if you’re registered?
I want to know before I do it.
Could someone tell me, please?

15 Lauren December 19, 2009 at 7:29 PM

There’s no monthly fee. They don’t even take your credit card number.

Mercedes, this is an awesome deal! What a great way to help the environment and earn high value coupons at the same time. Thanks for blogging about this!

The $5 Huggies is still there. Go to grocery and food section and it will show up. I did not find it at first and then somebody at slickdeal point it out that’s the way to find it. I just redeemed mine this morning a couple of hours ago. Good luck finding it.

18 Danielle December 21, 2009 at 4:21 PM

It’s not showing up in grocery & food for me. Boo. And I don’t live in one of the states that does curbside, so I’m never going to earn more points. I hope I remember to check back frequently to see if I can use my 100 points for anything useful.

I cannot sign on to this site. I tried both areas to register and both block my subscription. I have sent them an e-mail but have yet to get a reply. Any advice that might help me? Thanks.
