If you buy at least four Wheat thins or Triscuits, you can subtract another $2 from the Diabetes & You booklet making it free.
If you buy 5 Wheat Thins or Triscuits, the Diabetes & You booklet will actually deduct $2.50 making them all free. I used the $1/2 Wags coupon a couple weeks ago when they had the same deal thinking it would only take off $2, but it took off $2.50.
Also you can get $4 off AlkaSeltzer Plus this week. Check http://thecouponhigh.blogspot.com/2009/12/theraflu-6-packets-liquid-8.html for details.
I don’t see the Hellman’s coupon, how do you get that one? All I show is a link for a free sample.
Hi Mercedes,
If I buy only two Triaminic boxes (and no other item in the transaction), can I use both the 2 manufacturing coupons and the coupon in the Healthy Savings? I think the Healthy Savings coupon is scanned as manufacturing coupon so I am wondering if the register will count it as 4 coupons and we will need to buy 2 fillers.
Hi Nancy,
You should be able to. You see the coupon in the Healthy savings booklet is a store coupon. I know it says “manufacturer coupon” but it is a store coupon. It doesn’t start with a #5. A well trained cashier and manager knows that Walgreens lets customers use one walgreens coupon and one manufacturer coupon per item. so you should be able to.
Hope that helps,
Mercedes
Thanks Mercedes!
Triaminic worked for me. I used 2/$3 coup and healthy savings book coup. I either paid 21 or 23cents tax.
The WAG $3Q will not work on the $4.99 Revlon eye tool deal. The $1 11/15 SS will work. I tried this and I got a beep on the WAG Q. The cashier said I have to buy the item pictured on the coupon.
Can someone who is a pro at making the most of RR’s through several transactions please outline exactly what you would purchase in each transaction this week in order to have as many RR’s as possible while spending very little out of pocket? I am trying to learn how to earn more RR’s to put towards the the non RR items that I need.
I just tried to use the $5 off 4 Kellogs cereal (Target logo) and Walgreens wouldn’t let me. I explained it was a manufactures coupon but she still wouldn’t let me use it. She said they wouldn’t get reimbursed for it. It doesn’t say on the coupon that it can only be used at Target (also doesn’t say it can be at non-Targets). Is there something I can tell Walgreens to convince them to take it, or is it true that they won’t be reimbursed?
This happened to me also. The cashier wouldn’t even scan the coupon. Someone else had tried the target coupon before me and she said the machine just beeped at her and wouldn’t let her apply the coupon.
I had the same trouble with the Target logo Kelloggs coupon. I asked for a manager who said she could take it this time but had to check whether it was valid. I showed her what the actual Target store coupons looked like (no manu. mailing info, etc), and that helped.
The week-long ad says select Kellogg’s cereal is on sale for $1.99 and the 4-day sale says select Kellogg’s cereal is a BOGO deal. Does anyone know if these deals can be combined as a $1.99 BOGO deal?
