Hi Christy,
I follow this blog, and I was looking on here to plan my week of shopping for this Wednesday (1/20), and I saw your post. Yes, there are some areas that are a week behind. for some areas their sales run Sun-Sat, and then other areas run Thurs-Wed. Mine runs Thurs-Wed. I would imagine that yours does too. It's not really a bad thing it just means that we have more time to prepare our lists for the deals that we see. The only downfall is that sometimes the ad for the Thurs-Wed sales will change a lil bit from the previous weeks post, so you just have to watch out for that.

I had a good week–-I saved 81%! I did 6 transactions and my total OOP was $41.27 for 78 items, even though I bought almost 13 lbs. of meat!
http://momforhim.blogspot.com/2010/01/weekly-groceries-saved-81.html

Some of my totals were slightly below $25 because of the BOGOs, and coupons still doubled. The cashier noticed on the first one, and I said I had some backup items I could move up if coupons didn’t double, but she scanned them and they did, no problem.

They didn’t take my free chocolate milk coupon, though. I’m hoping to use it at Walmart (I never go there, but I will for free milk!)

I've never been able to use a B1G1 coupon with another manu coupon (even at Walgreens and Target). I have been told that a B1G1 coupon needs to have 2 items attached to it and that is why you can't use another coupon for the one your are "buying." To me it makes sense. It would be similar to a coupon that is a certain dollar amount off of 2 items, but the certain dollar amount of the coupon is just the value of the "free" item. If that makes sense.
A lot of times it depends on the cashier and whether or not they push it through. Coupon rules are so ambiguous. I just hope people who try to cheat the system don't ruin it for the rest of us.

I used other Manu coupons in addition to that $5 off $20 on paper products a few weeks ago.
Pick and Save won't combine the B1G1 with a coupon for the item that you are buying (the B1 part) because their system ties both items to the one B1G1 coupon. You can take the B1G1 and the additional coupon to Target or Walgreens and have more luck there.
I guess it's the luck of the draw at P and S.

Erin L. Thank you for responding to my question. I keep going over that in my head whether it's right or not because I keep thinking of it in the way that a lot of times it's suggested to use a B1G1 manu. coupon and another dollar or cents of manu. coupon together. I know Mercedes has said in the past that you cannot use other manu. coupons with like a $5 off $20 in ad manu. coupon because then you wouldn't be spending the $20. But this particular one doesn't say a certain dollar amount. It just says buy 5. Thank you again for responding.

Jessica B- Probably not since the coupon in the Ad is a Manufacturer coupon. If it was a store coupon you probably could use both. Since the coupon in the ad won't double, I think you would be better off to use individual coupons per item.

pennyscents - The frozen Rhode's rolls are priced at $2.49. There is usually a coupon for $1 off of one making it .49 after doubled coupon. There is also a McCormick spice coupon out there right now too that you could double if you found a cheap spice. (Sorry, I don't know the dates of the inserts on these. I just know that they are in my coupon stash.) Hope this helps a little.

Hello anybody,
I could really use some help here. I plan on shopping at Pick and Save tomorrow for dbl coupon days. I have a pretty large list of things that I have to pick up, but only a few coupons to use.

Can anybody think of some things that you can use coupons on to get items for free, or close to free at P&S even when the items are not on sale?
