in the Huggies deal, it says Goodnights. Is that the same as overnights?
No, they’re different. Goodnights are more of a pull up for older kids.
I don’t think you can mail the Pepsi deal for the Coors rebate. I read the form it says you have to buy Coors AND all those other products you’ve mentioned on sale with the pepsi.
I’m looking at the rebate for AL, AR, CT, HI, KY, LA, ME, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NY, SD, UT, VA, VT ad WV and it says clearly under SAVE $7.50/SAVE $10 “No beer purchase required.”
I just submitted for the rebate and 2 of the 4 rebate offers DON’T require a beer purchase.
On the Carefree deal, wouldn’t using the B1G1 and the $1 off be using two manufacturer coupons? Or would they apply the $1 to one and the B1G1 to the other? Walgreens can get very picky sometimes about the coupons, just wondering if you think that it will really work, because I have another B1G1 coupon and $2 off coupon that I would love to be able to use at CVS this week with the Tampax deal, but I wasn’t sure if it would work, so thanks for posting this!
I have done it before at Walgreens and I’m sure that it work at CVS too!
oh good! Thanks Kristina!!!
I work for Walgreens and it truly depends on which store you go to. Some will manually enter coupons if the register does not accept it.
You can also get Free Pert Plus and Sure for Men Antiperpirant with coupons from this Sundays Smart Source. In addition you can get 2 packs of Bic for Free.

Frustrated that we have to buy beer in the state of FL in order to get the rebates. I’ve spent $40.00 in the past 2 wks on Pepsi products (got $20.00 RRs back), but I don’t drink beer.
The rebate form for AL, AR, CT, HI, KY, LA, ME, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NY, SD, UT, VA, VT ad WV says under SAVE $7.50/SAVE $10 “No beer purchase required.”
The Kelloggs reward for me is only $1.00 when you buy 2 at 2/5.00.
Does that happen very often that the rewards will vary?
I am sorry Sharon, that was a typo on my part. I have fixed it since.
Mercedes
sure deodorant is 2/$3 after in add coupon. Use 1/24/10 SS coups
$1.50 coup for mens, $1.00 for womens. mens free womens .50
I followed the Huggies deal scenario and bought 3 packs using mfr. coupons and coupon from activity book. However, the machine doesn’t generate $5 RR and the lady told me it’s because I used the coupon from activity book…………is it right??
To follow up my question above, is it because the lady forcefully entered the $ amount since she couldn’t scan the bar code on activity book? That’s why the total dollar is $7.99*3… Thanks.
Your total was only $23.97. I would take them back & have the cashier re-ring it for $8.99*3 & do a single-line $3 credit for the coupon that wouldn’t scan. (You’ll probably need a manager.)
Can anyone tell me how many diapers are in the size 4 Huggies Jumbo packs? I saw that the $2 off coupon is for Little Movers – is that a lesser amt of diapers in the Jumbo pack?
Little Movers size 4 has 27 diapers, Snug n Dry size 4 has 31 diapers.
Thank you so much! Are the Little Movers just another name for Huggies Supreme?
The package I have says Huggies Supreme Little Movers
went to wags this am….attempted the Benefiber deal, cashier rang up Wags cpn 1st then mnftr cpn….Would only take 5 cpns…then used my RR from pepsi last week and register didnt print new RR. Cashier was a mgr and said Oh well….
Buy (6) Benefiber boxes for $30 and using Manufacturer and WAG coupons…NOT WORKING. I just got home from Walgreens and not able to do the Benefiber deal mentioned above. I used (6) manf. coupons as well as the coupon from the Diabetes book…..and no Register Reward at the end. Luckily, I have been able to get to know the some of the cashiers on a first name basis and know when they will be working…so they always help in Cosmetics so I don’t have a big line behind me. She forwarned me that they have been having trouble with the Benefiber deal if you use coupons. We rang it up 2 different times and still no Register Reward…luckily she was nice enough to void each transaction and give me all my coupons and register rewards back. Wondering if anyone else if having problems with the Benefiber deal?
I had problems as well. Cept I kept everything because its a great price, and the managers would not give us our RR. (I did the $10 AND $5 using all Benefiber) I got the manager both times (2 different stores) to sign a receipt and write the transaction number on it and write that I did not get my RRs. I am going to call Walgreens Customer Service and I will ask for my rewards. If not, I guess I will go to CVS, who HAS NEVER hassled me at ANY OF THE STORES I have been to. Super frustrated with Wags as per usual….
The Robitussin printable coupon link is for $2 off Robitussin D. I have a $3 Walgreens Catalina coupon for Robitussin D that says it is behind the Pharmacy or Service Counter. Anyone know if this deal will work for Robitussin D and whether the RR will print at the Pharmacy?
I visited two different Walgreen’s stores. The Robitussin D was kept behind the pharmacy counters at both stores and was only available in the 8 oz. size for approx. $10 per bottle. I was hoping to get 2/$10 in the 4 oz. bottles, use the coupons, and get the register rewards. The $2 coupons are for Robitussin D. I suppose I will use my $1 coupons for a different Robitussin.
The $7.50 Coors rebate states that it’s only good for certain products including Tostitos chips, Tostitos dips, Pepsi carbonated soft drinks, condiments, paper cups, paper plates, ice, and deli meats. A few of the sale items don’t appear to qualify for the rebate
Where do you get the activity books in Walgreens? I have been to two separate stores and spoke with both managers and neither knew what I was talking about.
Children’s Activities Books can be found in the Toy department of some Walgreen’s stores. I found mine in the section of coloring books. Good luck!
At my store they are in the pharmacy by the counter. Good luck
There is a great deal on the Old Spice deodorants- they are on sale for $2.49 each, with $1RR per purchase.
If you use the Old Spice/Secret coupons from the Dec. P&G insert, you can rack up! Here’s what I got:
Buy 3 Old Spice deodorants @ $2.49 each
Use B2 G1 Secret Deodorant free
Use B3 G1 Old Spice body splash free
Use B3 G1 Old Spice aftershave free
Use $1 off 2 Old Spice deodorants
Get $1 RR
Total: 4 deodorants, after shave, body splash for $6.47 plus tax
Did this really work for you? I have all of these coupons and dh really loves old spice. Just wondering! =)
Looking at the Huggies deal in Walgreens, I remember that it this might be a good time to add a note in the blog about the approaching CaregiversMarketPlace.com rebate submission for 2009 deadline –which is Jan 31st 2010 for all 2009 receipts.
Well, even though it is only .75c per package, it really adds up a lot.
Thanks for hard and good work CommonSenseWithMoney!!!
I have never been able to find the Diabetes and You Booklet. I ask everyone about it, and they tell me they have no such thing as it.
It was in the pharmacy back in Oct. or Nov. I was told the other day that they threw out the extras because they are getting a new one at the end of Jan.
Called around a few stores and found a couple, yay!
annoyed that my walgreens didn’t let me do the razor deal! It rang up at $5.99 for the first one and then $1 for the second. To use my coupon for BOGO they said they woudl take off the $1. I tried to explain to them they are ringing up incorrect as the ad specifically states, BO at $6.99 GO free! they wouldn’t listen! when I tried multiples n the same transaction, it rang up at $3.49 and $3.50.. I chose not to get any of them.
That is annoying! The cashier said that I would be lucky even to use it on the sale since the coupon states not to combine with any other offer, which that is an offer….
They also wouldn’t let me use the Icy Hot coupons since it states on the coupon Not for use with patches or something like that.. it was not a good run at walgreens today!
Can anyone help? I am fairly new at rolling RR’s at Walgreens. I will be going there this Thursday while I’m off work. I have a $10 RR that is expiring in a few days but don’t know how to roll it. I have been doing ok with getting really good deals but not really rolling my RR’s. This time is really hard for me because it’s a $10 RR. I usually have to kep my transactions very small otherwise I get confused and lose out on something that didn’t go through as planned. Any suggestions before I end up using it all on toilet paper instead of rolling it? Thanks guys!
Meckinzie,
Have you done the Olay Quench rebate? Because that could be an alternative. Plus this week you also get free in shower lotion.
Mercedes
We called Walgreens about not getting RRs from the Benefiber ‘buy $30 get $10 RR back’ deal and they said its because we used manufacturer’s coupons. According to them, if you use manufacturer’s coupons, RRs will not print. This is ridiculous. She said THEIR Wags coupon from the Diabetes book counts, but if you used manu ones they would make it so the RR wouldnt print. They also said it has to be $30 AFTER coupons. I will go to CVS. They still give ECBs if it is under the amt. (Like 2 days ago I paid $2 for 7 bags of Stacy’s chips using 6 $1/1 coupons, 1 free bag coupon, and $10 in ECBs and WAS NOT hassled)
Did anyone else call about this that didnt get the deal to work in the store?
Regarding the olay deal, you cannot use a quench in shower body bar or lotion coupon since you’re already getting it for free via buying the body lotion, c’mon people, don’t make us reject your coupons. be legit. I work at a walgreens, we’re just doing our jobs.
April,
Some cashiers are coupon friendly and do allow it. The olay in shower is a store promo. But according to the manufacturer I am buying it so I can use a coupon and they store will get reimbursed. Win for me win for store..and you still get your hourly rate just for scanning the coupon. All is fair.
Big corporations (like CVS, Walgreens, Target, etc) have big advertising agencies that run the price promotions and the coupons. It is not accidental that the sales run when the coupons are published. They know what they are doing; after all they are experts. Therefore, it’s not at all fraudulent to use what they give us, is it?
Below is an email from CVS regarding this matter if CVS can be coupon friendly so can walgreens.
In the case where a particular item is on sale for “buy one get one free” (BOGO), you are only allowed to use one manufacturer’s BOGO coupon. For instance, if Revlon lipstick is on sale for BOGO, you can use one manufacturer’s BOGO coupon. You would get both items free and pay any applicable tax. We reserve the right to limit quantities. If our store is running a sale for BOGO, you can use two manufacturer’s coupons for a specific dollar amount off. For example, if Revlon lipstick is on sale at our store for BOGO, you can use two $1.00 off Revlon lipstick manufacturer coupons.
Again, thank you for contacting us. We value your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Have a wonderful evening!
Sincerely,
CVS/pharmacy
Customer Relations
Someone may have already posted about this…but if you haven’t done the Diaper/Wipes deal….I just went to Walgreens today and they had a white print out with coupons on the front and back (like they had around Christmas time) on one side there is a $1.00 off Huggies Baby Wipes 64 or 72 pack…combine that with Manf. coupon and that could be a great deal on wipes!
HI Rae,
You must have been leaving your comment as I was putting together my post.
Mercedes
I have a question or the olay lotion rebate. Do I buy 2 ( since it is 2 per house) and then get the 2 shower lotion free. Or is the lotion and the shower lotion considered the 2 items for rebate?
Hi Sarah,
The rebate is only on the lotions. so you can buy two and get to inshower lotions free. Then submit the receipt to get the cost of the body lotions back.
Hope that helps,
Mercedes
