And walmarts coupon policy states that you can use up to 40$ worth of coupons before they will have to be overriden by a CSM. So thats weird that it would beep on her for anything less than that.

Thats too bad that they wanted you to do that. I went to day also for the ivory soap it was priced 1.07 for a 3pack at our stores. I got 12 packs and handed the cashier 12 coupons. She had no problem ringing them and didnt even question them. They all went thru without a problem and none beeped either. Maybe you will have luck at another store. Cuz .7 cents for a 3pack of soap is a really really good deal.

went to walmart in Janesville WI tonight!! what a waste of my time. I had ivory soap $1.06 and used a $1 coupon. Tide travel size,crackers and kotex pads… that was basically all i had.. I had a lot of them, but either way. The cashier was really nice, she was scanning coupons and most worked, however she eventually had to call CSM over because it wouldnt let her go further. I think i used too many coupons in one transaction. Well the CSM told me that I can only use 1 cpn PER PURCHASE.. which i said yes.. which I did one per item. She said no… if you check the coupon it states you have to Pay for each item in a seperate transaction. scan item, scan coupon, subtotal, pay. REPEAT for every item that has a coupon?? i said forget it I didnt want any of it! wasted an hour of my time shopping/checking out! ggrrr

I could not find the post-it notes for .50 cents. The clean and clear was not $3 and the Healthy choice were $1.88 (cheapest) Am I doing something wrong?

how does the post it deal work? it says $1 off 1 item right? so is the cashier supposed to adjust the value of the coupon or can we get 2 @ 50 cents for a dollar for free?

Nope…Carol, I haven’t. I know at our Walmarts, they sometimes check coupons on the Fast Lane registers…but at a regular station? That sounds ridiculous. I’d call corporate and clarify. This is exactly why I don’t shop at Walmart anymore. If you don’t want to take coupons, fine, but don’t make my life miserable because I’m trying to save a buck or two. Yeesh.

Oh, and the fact that it was discovered that they chopped up and destroyed clothing, jackets, hats, gloves, etc in late November that could have been given to the needy instead? That was the last nail in the coffin for me…I’d rather pay more at my local mom and pop grocery store and support a local neighbor than some big corporation that obviously doesn’t get it or care.

Went to my Walmart here in San Antonio this weekend and was advised by the cashier that when coupons are used they now have to call a manager to review the coupons before they can be processed. Has anyone else had this happen??
