I just checked out the video amazon has posted and it looks like it should be pretty fun. My husband and I went to Hollywood Studios in Orlando by ourselves and they had a Toy Story Mania ride/game which has some similar features to this Wii game and we really enjoyed the ride at the park. It was a lot of fun, and the technology they used with the 3-d made for really great effects.

I’m wanting to buy Need for Speed, Super Mario Brothers and Mario Kart for Wii. Any deals on those games?

I almost shouldn’t tell you, because I want it for myself, but the Toy Story game is a ton of fun! It’s modeled after the attraction at WDW and at DLR, so it features a lot of point and shoot games, but also a lot of carnival-type games that make very imaginative use of the Wii remote. I like it so much that I have now rented it twice.

My 4-year-old wasn’t as thrilled as I was, because she has a little difficulty with aiming, but I could see it being very fun for her in a year or so. In the meantime, I will hope that they still have a few available when I get home from preschool pickup (which, sadly coincides with when the game goes on sale in my time zone).

Hi Joann,

I don’t know, we have to wait until the time of the goldbox deal to find out the sale price.

We LOVE the Toy Story Mania game. A must have with the younger set. Our 5 yr. old has a blast with it (and we do too!)

We live in Orlando and have annual passes to Disney. The Toy Story ride at Hollywood Studios is my nine year old’s favorite, but the wait times are RIDICULOUS, and because of it’s popularity Fast Passes are often gone for the entire day by 10/11am. Most times we skip it and my daughter is disappointed- she saw this game and added it to her wish list for Santa. Many of the games are EXACTLY like the ride and you don’t have to wait 2 hours to get on! We play often together and always have a blast. I really think Wii is one of the best things to come along for families in a long time- I always get a hoot out of my daughter and her cousins playing. Their ages range from 6-18 and EVERYONE always has a blast. You can’t say the same about many activities!

Toy Story Mania is a must have for anyone with kids!! My three year old son was having trouble with some of the Wii resort games tha we got for Christmas so I got him this one to play. After only a few times, he can turn the Wii on, find the game, start the game and play it himself. It is not frustrating to him like some of the other games we have tried. He absolutely loves it! I am afraid we are going to have to start setting video game time limits at an early age!!
