Here are the best deals at PNS/Copps/Rainbow Foods this week. Remember that coupons are doubled when your order is more than $25 after store discounts and promotions and when you use your card. You also have the option to split your order to get more than five coupons to double. I regularly do two transactions at least. I list most of the totals after doubled coupons so you can get an idea of what could be cheap or not. The final decision of what to double is yours. Please make sure to compare this list to your local ad. Northern and Southern Wisconsin carry different ads.
If your ad looks different check out my coupon matches for last week here.

Hi! I am Mercedes and this is my blog Common Sense with Money! Helping other people live better, spend less, and save more is something I am very passionate about. I combine simple frugal living tips and smart shopping techniques to help moms across the U.S. become better home economists. Thank you for visiting my blog.

I wanted to mention that there is a catalina deal going on for pillsbury that if you buy 6 you get a 4$ catalina back. That makes this a Moneymaker deal and if you want more variety they have Pillsbury on sale this week at Piggly Wiggly (for those in Wisconsin)if grands are not your thing or you are going to have a drawer full by the end of the day
Does anybody know for sure if the Suave Professionals shampoo and conditioner is included in the sale?
Also, does anybody know how long the Pillsbury catalina deal will be running? This sales ad will be my sales ad next week, and I want to make sure that it will still be good next week too.
Yes, the suave professionals are on sale for 1.66 for me
and I think the pillsbury catalina runs until 2/21 (at least thats what “pocket your dollars” blog said
I had a good shopping trip yesterday–they paid me money AGAIN!
http://momforhim.blogspot.com/2010/02/weekly-shopping-they-paid-me-again.html
Don’t worry, I’m sure it won’t be a regular occurrence.
The ConAgra and Pillsbury were my best deals, along with better than free Pace salsa that I won from playing sweeps and better than free Beech Nut.
I live in SE WI so I am a week behind in the sales. The Kelloggs promotion here is still going on through 2/17. Yesterday I got two boxes of nutrigrain bars, two boxes of Special K bars, one box of Wheatables, one box of fruit chews, two boxes of Special K crackers and three more items (to get to 25.00). Ended up paying 3.75 after the 10.00 Kelloggs promotion discount, doubling five 1.00 coupons and using a few other coupons. A big bag of groceries for 3.75. LOVE IT!
I live in Neenah and was dissapppointed for this shopping trip because they have now stoppped doubling coupons that say specifically “Donot double or triple ” on them. I had all my $1.00 coupons first but 3 of the (all the conagra ones) said dont double so it doubled 2 $1.00 and then went on to double a .50, .75, and a .35. So you might want to check with your store to fnd out if they started doing this.
I also am disappointed. Diana, that happened to me tonight, 2/24/10 at the PickNSave north part of Kenosha, WI I was shocked…as in the past those type of coupons had. The cashier didn’t know if it was something new or not. But because the coupon said, ‘do not double’, the machine won’t and I didn’t get those coupons double.
I had the coupons from the ConAgra recipe/coupon booklet that was mailed to me.
The coupons from the Con Agra mailer all start with a 9. My cashier had to check with a manager in order to double them (they did). The weird thing is that some of those coupons did not say do not double, but yet they still started with a 9. The computer would not double those ones either, even though it did not say do not double.
Does anybody know why the coupons that start with a 9 do not double?
Anyone else have trouble with the $1 off Starkist internet printed coupon, doubling correctly?
I live in SE WI so I am a week behind in the PickNSave sales. On 2/17, I purchased the Kellogg’s 8 boxes for $10 and added other items to my transaction. I had 2 Starkist, $1 off coupons…for the pouch not the can. The pouch I was getting was $1.09 w/store card. I do not recall if the coupon said ‘do not double’ (In the past, I’ve had coupons that said that & they still doubled. I think it maybe because the store is giving the 2nd $1 off and the manfu. does the 1st $1 off).
I noticed that it gave me a $1 off then 9 cents off. I was at the self-check out. I asked ‘why’ it didn’t double the 2nd $1 off? She said that happened earlier with someone else. I don’t know if the coupon stated ‘do not double’…if that was the case why did it add the additional 9 cents? I was hoping for the extra overage (.91) to pay for the items I didn’t have a coupon for.
Because it didn’t double correctly (in my opinion) I asked if I could then count my 75 cent coupon as a double coupon & get the full benefit of the doubling. She then had to manually take off the 75 cents as the 1st 5 coupons had already been scanned.
Priscilla,
The coupon will only double to the shelf price. Because the shelf price was $1.09 the coupon doubled to only .09 cents. The system is set up to recognize to not give you money back. However, the system only recognizes the shelf price of an item. If the item would have been $2.09 shelf price then your coupon would have doubled to the full $1.00. Making it free + $1.00 MM. In your case free + .09 MM.
I think the regular price for those were $1.55 but because there was a sale at the PickNSave store it was on sale for $1.09. If I had purchased at the full regular price…would it have done a $ and then .55 ? or would it have did the dollar and then a 2nd dollar = doubled?
Priscilla,
I am sorry that I am just now responding to your ?. The reply that you wrote did not come through to my e-mail for some reason.
If you bought the product for a $1.55 full price then the coupon will double to just .55 cents. The coupon is still doubling. They just have it set up to not have the coupon double over the price of the product. At my store it is only set to not double the coupon over the price of the product based on the shelf price, and not the sale price. At my store it would have doubled to .55 cents (.46 money maker) even though the product was on sale for $1.09.
