Copps/Rainbow Foods/Pick N Save Double Daze Deals

Here are the best deals at PNS/Copps/Rainbow Foods this week. Remember that coupons are doubled when your order is more than $25 after store discounts and promotions and when you use your card. You also have the option to split your order to get more than five coupons to double. I regularly do two transactions at least. I list most of the totals after doubled coupons so you can get an idea of what could be cheap or not. The final decision of what to double is yours. Please make sure to compare this list to your local ad. Northern and Southern Wisconsin carry different ads.

If your ad looks different check out my coupon matches for last week here.

  1. Amanda says:

Lachoy has boxed meals like sweet and sour chicken on sale for 3.19, after double coupons it will be 1.19

  2. maggie says:

Can someone please tell me what the $20/8 Kelloggs deal is? Thanks!! :)

  3. Mary says:

Is the $20/8 deal still going on? I know it was in last weeks ad, but didn’t see it this week. If it, I’ll be cashing in on that!

  4. Molly says:

My Copps flier says Buy 8 Kelloggs products and get $10 off instantly. So it’s on again, at least for me in GB, WI

  5. Lindsey says:

It’s crazy how those ads run! I live in West Bend and work in Germantown. 25 minutes apart and Germantown is a week behind West Bend. I used to think it was regional how the ads run but now i know it’s not.

Also.. I have never been able to double internet printables.

    • pennyscents says:

I shop at the Germantown location every week, and have never had a problem with any of my internet coupons doubling.

      • Kathy says:

I have to say that I have never had a problem at the Germantown/Menomonee Falls Pick N Save with doubling internet coupons either. I will say that I get a little more pushback from the checkers at that store. I have been told to present the coupons highest dollar amount first to lowest (even if I am only giving them 5). I really don’t see what difference it makes if you are only using 5 but I comply when I am at that store. Have never had any pushback from Delafield, Oconomowoc, Brookfield or Pewaukee Pick N Saves at all.

    • pennyscents says:

The West Bend sales run Sunday through Saturday, and the Germantown sales run Thursday though Wednesday. Usually whatever is on sale at the West Bend store one week will be on sale the following week at the Germantown, Men. falls, Milwaukee locations. There are some exceptions, though. like the Grand opening sales that are going on at the West Bend store. The Germantown store will price match the West Bend ad. You just have to show it to them at the registers. I love the Germantown store. I have had nothing but good experiences. I even wrote corporate letting them know how good they do there.

  6. Christy says:

The display sign (in Sheboygan, WI) says that the Kellogg’s deal runs through 2/13/2010 even though it wasn’t listed in our ad. It worked for me this am – 3 transactions worth!

  7. jen says:

Where is the kellogs catalina deal posted? I bought 8 boxes and got nothing!

  8. Melanie B. says:

Yes, I was just at the Neenah Pick N Save, bought 5 boxes of cereal as a part of my 8, and I didn’t get the catalina coupon. Must not have been the “selected” varieties. Does anyone know which boxes qualify? Thanks!

    • Cathy says:

I went to Copps in Green Bay … bought 6 boxes of cereal total, but only received $3 Catalina coupon … 4 boxes were Frosted Flakes and 2 boxes where frosted mini wheats … assuming the Frosted Flakes qualified

      • Marie says:

You were very lucky…I bought 8 boxes of Special K cereal bar and got zip catalina coupon…

My question is where does it indicated that I would get so much $ catalina back, usually the it informs when there is going to be a special a week in advance??

  9. Amanda says:

I’m in Oshkosh, and I am able to double internet coupons

  10. Sarah says:

Hi, I was in at Pick N Save today. I bought over $25.00 worth of groceries. I bought the hormel tenderloin on sale for B1G1 free. Then I used two of the hormel 1.00 off coupons. I used the self checkout and then when I got my reciept I realized that it hadn’t taken off either of my Hormel coupons. When I went to the service desk, they said that they could double one of the coupons, but not the other one since I was getting it free. Has any one else had a problem using 2 coupons on a b1g1 free deal? Thanks

    • You should be able to use two coupons for BOGOs, and I’m guessing if a cashier had rung you through the coupons would have automatically doubled.

      • Sarah says:

Thats what I thought too. I have to admit being a little aggravated at the service desk, since they told me that they never allow two coupons to be used with B1G1. When I told them that it works every time, she said “well, thats what my manager says and next time we won’t take your coupon.” So, that was that. Oh, well. Live and learn.

  11. Molly says:

Cathy, which Copps in GB did you go to?? I might have seen you there! ;-) I bought 3 boxes of special K granola cereal, 2 boxes of club crackers, 2 boxes of raisin bran crunch and one box of frosted flakes and got $10 off. Unfortunately for me, I messed up my total and ended up going under by more then $2, so I had to grab a candy bar and ended up paying 3 cents! :-) I did the deal a second time but some how got 7 items instead of 8, but thankfully the customer service person was really nice about it and let me fix it!

  12. I had a slower week than usual, and my store was also out of the Yoplait Smoothies–they are always out when they are on sale–so I had to improvise for the GM fuel deal.

  13. John Murray says:

I do not recommend using Smart Balance products, those are highly processed food. Of course, they claim this and that healthy and all that stuff.
Read between the lines, they use a food preservative called TBHQ.

TBHQ is the acronym used to describe tertiary butylhydroquinone, which is an antioxidant that comes from petroleum and is related to butane. It is often used as a preservative, applied either to the carton of fast food items or sprayed directly onto them, as well as in various other prepackaged food items

Consuming up to a gram of TBHQ can cause variable toxicity, and up to 5 grams can be fatal.

In toxicity studies, long-term, high-dose TBHQ administration in lab animals showed a tendency for them to develop cancerous precursors in the stomach, as well as causing DNA damage.

There has been some anecdotal evidence that TBHQ can cause anxiety, restlessness, and aggravation of ADHD symptoms for children.

To sum up, it is a highly processed fat with a lot of chemicals. Just stay away.
